This NEW LISTING IN 2022 is a newly remodeled, delightful 4-season waterfront cottage called Sea Charmer Cottage. You'll love beachfront water views from nearly every room in the home, luxurious and comfortable furnishings, relaxing serenity in your own private oasis, plus close proximity to Rehoboth Beach, DE with its world-famous boardwalk plus hundreds of activities, events, outlet shopping mall, concerts, and restaurants. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with some restrictions and requests.
We take great care to make sure your stay is perfect, such as comfy new furniture, streaming TV, a well-stocked kitchen, newly sanded and stained "whitewash" hardwoods, numerous beach toys and boogie boards, and very comfortable beds (sheets 1800 thread count).
But, the main attraction here is the open floor plan with a four-season sunroom overlooking awe-inspiring water views with direct and quick access to the beach and the expansive Delaware Bay! You'll become addicted to the sound of the gentle waves breaking against the beautiful wide beach, curling up with a great book, or just long naps swinging above the dune.
From sunrise to sunset, you're surrounded by beauty ... wake up to the smell of coffee from our coffee bar, enjoy a stunning sunrise over the water, the sound of seagulls, herons, and egrets dancing along the coastline, and maybe even see dolphins frolicking for breakfast
If you love long, relaxing walks, this is the perfect beach-combers paradise with wide sandy beaches and shells - sometimes even sea glass. A large new 30x12 stone patio provides ample room to enjoy the outdoors, have a cookout on our new grill, or just enjoy late-night conversation under the stars.
The indoors is beautiful too, stylishly decorated and comfortable (you will NOT find hand-me-down Thrift Shop furnishings here)! Enjoy meals together in the sunroom dining nook that seats eight, play board games and puzzles with the family, or just take long dreamy naps in our spa where two full-length massagers melt your stress away and the sound of the water lull you to sleep.
If you want a quiet and peaceful spot right on the beach, versus the hectic crowds at the major beach attractions, this is 100% for you. Or you can have both - time in nature and time with the ocean beach crowd (Atlantic Beach is 15 minutes away). Our cottage is in Slaughter Beach, but it should be called Sanctuary Beach for the nature reserve that surrounds the area, featuring the world-renowned horseshoe crab migration and red knot arctic bird migration.

Summary: This cottage was perfect for our short vacation / anniversary weekend! It was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. The coffee bar was a nice touch! It was great being able to just take a few steps through the backyard and be on the beach, which was pleasantly not crowded all weekend! The communication with Nancy was also excellent! When we come back to the area we will check to see if this house is available first!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the Sea Charmer Cottage. It was very clean and well stocked with basics and amenities that made our stay very comfortable. Our favorite activities included watching the sunrise every morning, walking the shoreline, swimming, and sitting on the beach mesmerized by the sound of the waves and warmth of the sun.

Summary: We had a fabulous time over Labor Day weekend. The view was just amazing and we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets. We were lucky to have our pups with us and they enjoyed the water. It was so easy to bath them on the patio and sit on the swing while they dried. Loved the location and the beautiful views. We cooked, grilled, played board games and enjoyed the beach and water. Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with me and my family!

Summary: If you are looking for a well stocked and extremely clean rental on the water, this is it. It is a perfect beach for kids. Being on the bay means calm and shallow water perfect for water activities. Our Standard Poodle enjoyed the water as well.
