This old house has pine floors, old woodwork and lots of charm. The kitchen,windows and doors have been modernized. There is fireplace in the dining room and the living room has a 70" TV and a theater quality sound system for evening movie watching. 2nd TV in the kitchen.
2 bedrooms are connected with room for maybe 4 more "campers".
There are 3 full washrooms and while modernized - they are not brand new and are not what you would call "fancy". Like the whole house. More "COMFY" than "NEW."

Summary: Loved our stay here with 6 adults. Plenty of room in this country home. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Good water pressure. Good sized kitchen but could use a few more pots/pans. Could not get the dinning and kitchen room lights to work. Enjoyed the BBQ and dishwasher. Coffee is Keurig style pods only not drip but reusable pods were great. 3 bathrooms with two showers and laundry were very handy. Great Wi-Fi. Driveway is beside the old hotel and NOT where Google says. Perfect place to kick back and relax. Thanks.

Summary: It's a very cozy and comfortable place and we had everything that we needed Very private with lots of space and great setup. We found our stay was just amazing!

Summary: I was looking yo get away from the city for the weekend last minute and this was the only place available, so I wasn't expecting much, but the place was great, spacious and had a big back yard for my dog to run around in the morning. The only con I have is that it's at a busy intersection.

Summary: Lovely garden in front and balcony all around which is great for morning coffee and chatting all day/eve. It's a pretty busy area so take care going in and out of the property. It was great to have a choice of rooms and there are three bathrooms. Building is quirky like most older homes. All bedrooms are on the second floor, FYI and one bathroom is on the ground floor. The kitchen could have been a LOT cleaner. Lampshades should be cleaned at least annually. It was a bit unappetizing to see all those dead flies in the lamp over the dining table and over the sink - so easy to clean them. Owner was very responsive and helpful re a couple of tech issues (my fault). It was lovely to be in the country and the place is fun - just needs some cleaning. We had a good time there exploring the Lake Brome area and beaches.

Summary: Great place, very interesting and unusual, full of character and useful features. Unfortunately the property needs some attention to the mold and humidity problem which causes a bad odour in some parts of the house…but other than that, the overall experience was very positive

Summary: We absolutely loved staying in Brome village in this beautiful home. The house was well equipped, the beds super comfortable, the wood burning stove easy to use, great wifi and choice of tvs with great sound system. The house had a lot of quirkiness of a 100 year old building, uneven floors, sloping eaves with giant icicles, stairs leading to a little bathroom in the back, views of a giant barn, wrap-around porch. My dog Watson also really enjoyed his stay!
