3 Bedroom Cottage in Pentwater

Spend your days at the beautiful sugar sand lake Michigan beach, or enjoy all the association amenities (pool, tennis & pickle ball court, basketball court, playground equipment). Beach access is about a 12 minute walk or 2 minute car ride. This recently updated cottage sits in a serene wooded wooded area located 2 miles North of Downtown Pentwater in Desirable Duna Vista associtaion. Location is perfect for access to Pentwater or Ludington which is about 15 miles to the North.
The upstairs has two bedrooms, one of which has 2 twin beds and the other a queen size bed. The MBR is on the main floor and has a queen size bed.
There are endless outdoor activities nearby: hiking, biking, beach, kayaking or paddle boarding rentals at Ludington State park, Mears state park (climb Mt. Baldy) or just hang at our large Association beach.
* Cottage does not have central air conditioning, but MBR has window A/C, and upstairs room with queen bed has a portable A/C unit. House is shaded by several trees and temperature has not been an issue unless it gets into the 90's.
* Due to high mineral content in the water (well water) we provide bottled water for cooking/drinking/etc.
* Sorry, no pets allowed due to allergy sensitivities in our family
* Please note: We have a Ring doorbell camera on outer front door for verification of deliveries and cleaning/maintenance.

Summary: Great location with a cozy sunroom to enjoy morning coffee watching the wild turkeys and deer. We explored the woods and saw a porcupine on our way to the beach to enjoy the stars on the beach of Lake Michigan.

Summary: Ideal location and house for a wonderful Pentwater vacation! We loved the deck and outdoor eating area for our meals. The house is decorated perfectly and has been updated so nicely. We will definitely be back!!

Summary: The house was cute and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the quiet setting with lots of trees and wildlife. We loved the deer that frequently came through the yard. It was nice to have access to a clean and quiet beach just a short drive away. The pool and clubhouse were also nice bonuses.

Summary: We had a great time. House was perfect! Love the neighborhood is wooded and private. Also loved the private beach access, most of the time we had the beach to ourselves! Also enjoyed the heated pool and pickle ball courts. Nice to sit in the sun room and watch all the wildlife while drinking coffee. Also close to Luddington State park and Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

Summary: We had a great time at this adorable cottage. Although the listing said you could walk we drove to the beach and pool. The walk was rather hilly for our family and all of our gear but driving was not a problem! We loved the private beach and the pool and spent most of our days at both. The house was comfortable and adorably decorated. It did get hot a few of the days we were there and we noticed the lack of AC but the listing prepared us for that. It was a great week!

Summary: Spent a week with our family and couldn't have asked for anything more...well, except for maybe a little nicer weather! Cottage was clean, well-appointed and super comfy for our family of 5. It is nicely located close to 'downtown' Pentwater and the association's private beach alone, is well worth staying here for. Definitely interested in returning!

Summary: We took a weekend trip with close friends our kids to Michigan and stayed in this house. The house was spotless, well kept and accurate per the listing! We would definitely stay here again! The neighborhood is secluded, wooded and very quiet, which was perfect for what we were looking for!

Summary: Enjoyed our second stay at this Duna Vista cottage. Clean and well equipped home has everything you need including drinking water. Kitchen is stocked well and sun porch is a fantastic place to relax. Owner is responsive and easy to work with. Pentwater is a beautiful getaway!

Summary: Pentwater is near and dear to our hearts as we were married and have created memories here year after year. Typically, we have stayed in town but decided to stay off the beaten path this year. The house was a perfect location and felt so serene which added to our relaxation. The A/C units barely had to be run and the amenities provided suited us perfectly. Communication with the owner was seamless and timely. The private beach was by far our favorite. We would recommend this house to our family and friends as well!
