Summary: My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week at this property with our 20 month old and my parents. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped and the general living area is good. The pool area is great and a really good size. It’s a quiet location with access to the riverside path which we made use of. It is good that the pool is slightly set away from the house to avoid any accidents with little ones although ensure you pack your mozzie spray as we got a lot of bites! We hadn’t realised that towels weren’t provided although the host kindly lent us some. A supermarket is within a short walk but public transport in the area is nonexistent. We managed to organise taxis however I would recommend a car. There aren’t really any restaurants locally so we spent a lot of time in Bergerac which is only 10-15 mins drive and very pretty. Overall, a lovely house in a peaceful area for a quiet break.

Summary: This was our main two week holiday my daughter and new Husband joined us as well as my mother in law. So our ages ranged from 23 to 73 and it's safe to say we all thought this holiday was fantastic. Lots of room and modern features in a very French modernised property all done sympathetically and ouzing charm. The pool has to be the biggest we've been able to enjoy at the VRBO properties we've stayed in as well as having a nice shaded area for those of us who burn easily. It was a nice surprise to find there is a very short walk to the Dordogne river and pleasant walks along a tarmac path/service road. As it's self catering a local pizza place was great, as well as the supermarket also in walking distance. On arrival we met Damian and we don't speak much French or he English although more than my French, we used Google translate for any areas we struggled to understand. He was really helpful and nothing to much trouble. They were apologetic on our arrival the pool cover wasn't working but it was open so we could use the pool and it was fixed the next day which I thought was great in them making sure from the off we had a great time. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway and I think we will be returning for another holiday.
