600m from the ocean, in a quiet street on the edge of the Landes pine forest, "Solymar" will be the perfect place to relax, take a walk along the beach, swim, surf or visit the Landes, Basque region and Spain which with the proximity of the A63 motorway are all close. Our house has just been enlarged and renovated and can accommodate up to 11 people (Maximum 8 adults). A ground floor with a large living room of 50m2 open onto a new fully equipped kitchen on one side and the very large terrace overlooking the pool and pool house via several doors and bay windows. The living room is equipped with a 140 sofa bed. A master bedroom bedroom with queen-size bed, bathroom with Italian shower, double sink, WC and dressing room and a children's bedroom with bunk bed, plus WC, utility room with washing machine and dryer. On the first floor, 3 bedrooms (two with 140 beds and desks, and one with a 90 bed and desk) and a bathroom with bathtub. (possibility of having a baby bath on request). Outside the house, a large wooden terrace, a pool house with bar, barbecue and garden furniture open to the swimming pool and a large garden.
Labenne Océan has many cycle paths and forest paths which allow you not to use your car if you wish (Capbreton is about 30mins by bike via the cycle path). Various shops (bakery, grocery store, restaurants, bicycle rental, surf school ...) are 500 meters away. Water parks, course in the trees, animal park, Balneo Center "Dune and Water" within 1 km. And especially the beach being so close, you can not use your car during your holidays ... or if you wish, you can reach Bayonne (20mins), Biarritz and Spain in less than an hour.

Summary: We spent a week in this beautiful accommodation with two families. Communication with the owners before and during the stay was flawless. The house offers everything you need for a great holiday: a beautiful pool, plenty of shady places to relax, and a spa. The accommodation was clean and tidy. The location to the beach and restaurants is ideal. We can therefore absolutely recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Summary: The villa had everything needed for a great stay. The kitchen pretty much had everything, the few things we thought were missing we mentioned in person. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed exploring the area.

Summary: The House is Even bigger than on the pictures. Is is very well equipped and the kitchen can cater also for big groups. Very refreshing pool. There is a shortcut to the beach, that is not visible on google maps. So really not more than 10mins footwalk to the beach. Perfect private sunset spot.

Summary: We just spent 2 wonderful weeks in Solymar with 2 families! Lots of space in the house and outside, one of the rare cases where the house is actually bigger than it looks like on the photos. Nicely renovated, everything works well, the kitchen is very complete. The wooden terrace is just fantastic, the BBQ, the lounge area and of course the pool! We rented bikes and used them every day to get to the beach and to the shops. Overall a great time and I can only recommend this house!

Summary: Our group (4 adults, 3 teenagers and a baby) thoroughly enjoyed our time at Solimar. The villa is as described, with a brand new kitchen, confortable living space and renovated master suite. The other bedrooms (1 downstair, 3 upstair) provide lots more options for sleeping. We were 10 and did not feel cramped at all. Our favorite part of the villa was the outside space. We ate all our meals outside, and spend a significant amount of time relaxing on the couches and chairs in the shade. Perfect! Xavier welcomed us warmly and was available for any questions during our stay. He provided us with a thoughtful welcoming gift (we really enjoyed grandma's tomatoes and discovered the local pastis .... delicious). He also shared information on the area which was quite helpful. The villa is a short walk away from a very large beach, with huge waves. Most of us attempted to learn how to surf during our stay, with the help of the local surf school (Go and Surf, on the main Labenne beach - very nice people). After a few hours in the ocean, it was very nice to come back "home" to our own oasis, rinse off in the outdoor shower and maybe take a dip in the pool. Overall it was a very nice stay. We do hope to return. We were so confortable in the villas that we did not venture out very much. Maybe next time....
