Accommodates 6 people in 2 bedrooms with a double sofa bed in the main salon, with privacy screen. Cot & high chair available.
This lovely house is right in the heart of Turenne and has beautifully exposed beams, stone walls and stunning tower, with a secluded pretty garden, featuring a hot tub along with garden furniture for relaxing or al fresco dining. Being in the centre if Turenne, within walking distance to the bar, restaurants and shops. With Collonges-la-Rouge with it's beautiful red stone houses only 9,8 km away and Brive with all it's shops, bars and restaurants and Saturday market is only 15km away. Spa pool available for use during the summer, but additional charges for electricity will apply out of season, September to the end of June these are €20 per day to be paid in cash and this will be collected during your stay. The spa pool is free to use in July & August.

Summary: The property is very impressive and has all modern conveniences without spoiling the traditional feel. We enjoyed coffee each morning in the welcoming cafe next door and walking around the spectacular village. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Summary: Property was stunning. Very traditional which is what we were looking for. The welcome bottle of wine was also appreciated. The area was beautiful, peaceful and very quiet, so as a couple, we would return but probably not with teenage children.

Summary: From the moment we opened the antique gates leading to our French getaway in the height of a burning summer we knew we had arrived at somewhere special. The property was refreshingly cool in the midst of a scorching day. As we began to explore, we were taken aback by the character of the house, the turreted stair case which wound up gracefully to the second floor gave an impression of times past and the blocked off door ways set your mind a pondering, where did they lead !The wooden beams on the ground floor ceiling are mismatched which leads you to believe they had come from somewhere else ( The ruined Chateau on the hill perhaps ?) If they could tell a story ! As well as being beautiful and full of history on a practical level the house offered you everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the garden which was perfect for the afternoon sun as well as being secluded and shady. The hot tub was a lot of fun and even in the heat surprisingly cooling. We very much enjoyed Turenne, walking up the hills and exploring the footpaths which abound around the village. The bar next door was lovely and shady on a hot day. The local shop sold a lot of what you might need and the Pizzeria in the square was a delightful place to have a meal. We also had a fun mini train ride up the hill to the Chateau. We would really recommend the property and Turenne as a place to visit. We had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday there.

Summary: The house pretty much exactly as the pictures showed, the garden was a little smaller than we expected but I think that was because some of the pictures were pre the hot tub and some after. The house itself was brilliant and had everything you could possible want and absolutely oozed character but with all the mod cons needed for a comfortable stay. The location was quiet and peaceful and parking was simple we parked in the car park across the street and there was always plenty of spaces. You will not be disappointed if you choose this house for your holiday we had a fabulous time.
