Summary: We (4 adults, 4 children 4-10 years) booked this house for 1 week. What should we say? The house was super clean, all needed equipment for the kitchen was available, we also used the 2 sets of Raclette. Additional the house included some historical informations about the textil industry, which closed 1978. This was really good integrated in the complete decoration style of the house - Perfect The house owner were super friendly and always ready to help or give advices, if problems would occur. They live next to the house, on the other side of the stream/small river/Bach. - Perfect Although the outside temperature was incredible for september/october, the stream/small river/Bach was used for a real short bath in the real cold water. The location is romantic and was also used for several games with the children - Perfect for everyone We started from the house our daily hiking tours around Saint-Maurice-sur-Moselle to the Ballon or Rouge Gacon, recommended by the Tourist Office for hiking scenarios with children. - Perfect The real good Bakery, a Supermarket and a Electric Car charging station is reachable in a few minutes by foot. So as a conclusion, we were completely satisfied with our choice for this house and the owner. Thanks again to Martine and Phillipe

Summary: We had a fantastic week in Philippe and Martines spotless holiday home. The house was large and beautifully furnished. Well equipped including your very own plunge pool in the spacious outdoor area. The owners were very friendly and helpful a joy to talk to. Locate peaceful with easy access to the boulangerie which was frequented most days. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Summary: Very nice property nicely renovated! Plenty of space available. Very well located to go either to the ski slopes of Rouge Gazon or Ballon d'Alsace. We recommend this house!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in perfect condition and the owners make you feel welcome. During the hot days it was really nice to have a river streaming past the garden. The house is beautiful located.

Summary: Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the owners. The house is located near the start of the Ballon d´Alsace. It´s very quiet as it is more than 1 km away from the big road. It´s a 10min drive from le Thillot where there is a warehouse. There is a bakery at 1km. The garden lies next to a small river which you can jump in and freshen up (be aware it is very very cold!). The house was very clean and spacious. There are 4 big bedrooms and 2 bath rooms, each with one toilet. The douche is very big. The interior of the house is not very modern but rather a tribute to a more local style. The living room is big. The internet is good. The outdoor area has a big table to eat on and a garden to chill out (the garden is not flat but rather hilly terrain). There is a room with a wash and dry machine which can be used as storage. There is a separate toilet downstairs. All in all, we would definitely recommend this vacation house. We used it for our cycling holiday with 6 People and 1 baby and had all the luxury we could hope for. Au revoir

Summary: Merci beaucoup Martine y Philippe, for a wonderful holiday here in the Vogeses. It was ouf first time in this region. We were surprised bh the diversity and beauty of the area. We especially enjoyed the mountains, forests and out-of-the-blue lakes. The spacious house and garden made our holiday completely idyllic! Wonderful the way the house has been rebuilt with the details of the history from this former factory office! We will miss the sounds of the streaming water by day and especially by night. Summary: We recommend this house with 100% guarantee for a perfect holiday. The owners are very helpful and take great care of their house. The interior is authentic in style and at the same time modern and totally equiped. There is plenty of space inside and outside. Children can play and swim in the river. Almost no traffic in the street. We enjoyed the surroundings. The Ballon d' Alsace is beautiful and we enjoyed several sunsets on the top. You can start several hikes directly from the house or after a short drive. Grocery stores nearby, as well as activities as canoing and tree climbing. Tourist information, bakery and nice and simple swimming pool on walking distance. Bigger swimming pool and lakes to swim not more than half an hour drive. The house and garden also give opportunity to stay at home and relax. Due to the mountains the nights are not too hot. We were two families with children in the age 9-12 and we all think this house was the best we ever rented!

Summary: Very pleasant house and garden, a tastefull and decently renovated old building. Lots of space in the house so fit for a group with energetic children. Also this is a good location in Les Vosges: hiking trails nearby, and easy to go into the higher hills by foot/car/mountainbike. Alltogether a very pleasant stay!

Summary: House has been lovingly restored with attention to detail and an eye for interior design. Each room has it's own character with antique furniture and matching details reflecting the history of the house and the area. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space in all the rooms for a large group...we were two families, 8 in total. The owners Martine and Philippe made us very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed, They were very helpful and gave us tips on the local area. We would love to return next year!!
