We am happy to report we had a great year in2022 despite the uncertainty of Covid-19.
Each guest was certified under CDC Guidelines, and personally verified negative .Our
occupancy rate was above 84%. Although there are four bed rooms, we accommodate guests ranging from one to eight. Thus we are tailoring are rates to accommodate most everyone.

This is only 30 $ a day per person. Folks it does not get better than that. You will be part of living history. Additional 10% discount offered for booking 2 consecutive weeks
in September and or October.
The Historical play, SHORE ACRES, written by James Herne, author/playwright, was completed in 1896, running for over 10 weeks in Boston. A record for that time. The play netted Mr. Herne over one million dollars.

Summary: If there was a higher rating for the renters of Lamoine Beach I would have chosen it. CJ and Marcia are over the top beautiful people who were at your beckon call and gave us so much assistance and information and genuine care. The home was a museum in a beautiful peaceful quiet pleasant area. They are tops and we wish them God's blessings in life. They are the best!

Summary: We had an excellent space to play and enjoy the sites in Maine. The kids had a great time at the beach close by and playing in the backyard while the parents were able to enjoy the fire pit and take a much needed break. Great space for friends and families to gather!

Summary: This was the first time our family visted Maine. We found this very unique and charming house built in 1795. It met our needs as far as accommodating four adults and two twelve year olds. It was within walking distance of the beach and a huge backyard with a fire pit. We want to thank the owner CW for allowing us to rent this proprty, it made our Maine trip so much more special.

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this historical old inn! It took us back to a simpler and quiet life. CW the owner shared with us some of the history behind the inn which we appreciated. It's location near the end of a dead end street that ends with Lamoine Beach was great. Very quiet. Only 30 minutes away from Acadia National Park. We would definity stay again.

Summary: This very old, but well-maintained, house on a quiet road near Frenchman’s Bay and Lamoine State Park, welcomed our family for a week’s stay at the end of the summer, 2021. So cozy and comfortable, like an old favorite sweater. The owner, CW, was accessible and friendly. The best part of the stay was seeing photos of our grandchildren enjoying a ride in his beautifully restored 1923 Ford Model T.

Summary: There were 8 of us. First time in Lamoine area - loved walking a very short ways for beach sunrises and walks, very good location for schoodic, Ellsworth and Acadia activities. Responsive, knowledgeable hosts - thanks for a great week!

Summary: We had a great stay at Shore Acres. The house was really clean, even under the beds. The back yard and nearby beach kept the kids busy while we relaxed. It was about 25-30 minute drive into Bar Harbor and Acadia. Hosts were helpful and took care of a water issue quickly without interruption to our stay and use of the house. The house is old and appears to be very fancy but It is much more laid back than pics appear. Just a lovely old farm house.

Summary: We loved this place. It was full of history, like browsing in your favorite antique shop. The location was perfect being so close to the beach. The owners were very friendly and we loved hearing the stories from them. They were there for everything we needed and gave us our space as well. It’s about 30 mins from bar harbor, 15 mins from Ellsworth and an hour from Bangor. They had a very well stocked kitchen everything we needed to cook there(minus the food of course), even brought us a bbq to use. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back. Summary: Wow. The hosts are amazing. This historic house is filled with stories, plenty of space, old world ambiance and everything one could need. We will be back as Shore Acres and Maine captured our hearts. This home is just a short stroll to the beach, 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and easy access to Acadia National Park, which we explored each day. We ended each evening with a fire, telling stories and enjoying one of clearest views of the night sky we’ve ever enjoyed. We couldn’t recommend this place and the wonderful hosts more highly. Like I said, we will be back.
