Summary: The house is just as atmospheric as the pictures show. It is fully equipped. The garden is spacious and has a beautiful view of the Alps. Sarah is very welcoming and responds quickly to messages. We really enjoyed our holiday in Le petit nid with our family.

Summary: The property was perfect for our purposes and Sarah is the perfect host, always available and willing to help out with any questions. The property location is ideal for just having a few days doing next to nothing in a quiet location with a babbling stream running through the garden providing a relaxing soundtrack. If you want to exhaust yourself cycling and walking, you can equally do that too without having to travel far. We enjoyed exploring the mountains by car and found this to be an ideal, central location. Fantastic place and we may well be back someday!

Summary: We strongly recommend the Petit Nid. It was ideal for our little board game retreat, very calm surroundings, cosy little wood stove in the living room, kitcheen with everything you need, 4 large bedrooms and 3 fully fonctional bathrooms. The contact with the host Sarah was really easy. And last but definitely not least, Sarah can prepare and deliver homemade dinner at the place. We ordered one for the evening of the day we arrived and it was amazing.

Summary: We enjoyed a fantastic two week stay at Le Petit Nid. It's a lovely, very well specced house, in a quiet hamlet in the stunning Maurienne Valley. We woke up every morning to the sun peaking over the mountain tops and to the sound of the crystal clear stream running at the bottom of the garden. The house is very spacious, over three floors, and provided ample room for our family of four + dog. Sarah, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful, especially when she kindly looked after our dog for a day (thank you!). It was a great base for exploring the Alps and is highly recommended.

Summary: We stayed at Le Petit Nid in August for a week and it was perfect. Great location, beautiful house and Sarah was absoultely lovely and a brilliant cook who made the best meal of our trip to France!!

Summary: Sarah's welcoming homemade dinner in her beautiful dining room was truly delicious and one of the highlights of our trip to the French Alps. Le Petit Nid is perfect for families, our kids loved to play games by the fireplace. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, it felt like being at home.

Summary: The property works really well for two families. The area is stunning, with lots to do. This was our second visit and we didn’t need to repeat any activities......that is other than having dinner at Sarah’s house, which is a real must; she is a fabulous host and an incredible cook. Would highly recommend.

Summary: Sarah is incredibly helpful and very welcoming and has created an oasis of warmth, comfort but homeliness in this delightful chalet. It was everything we hoped it would be with way more besides, to arrive after a long journey to a roaring wood burner...just what was needed. It was ideally situated for us as we were able to try out 3 different ski resorts from this base as it nestles neatly in between them all and the skiing was great, lovely long runs that suited all of us from green to black. We had the pleasure of an evening meal cooked by Sarah, a superb cook...well worth finding an evening (or two) during your stay and booking her to create some simply delicious food. From the minute we drove up to the moment we left this chalet just had us smiling and feeling at home. We will definitely be back.
