This inviting log house is 1,250 sq ft with a delightfully spacious, bright, open-plan living area with cathedral ceiling and wood burning stove. Tastefully furnished, combining mid century modern with a rustic, cozy aesthetic. The kitchen, equipped with new appliances opens onto comfortable living room area with a new wood burning stove, 42" flat screen smart TV and sliding glass door onto the back deck. There is wifi, Directv and Netflix. To the other side is the dining area with table and chairs to accommodate 6 people very comfortably. The front door leads onto the front deck which is partially sheltered by the over hanging roof. There are 2 bedrooms with Queen size beds. . All of the beds and bedding are brand new and very comfortable. The bathroom has been completely renovated and can be accessed via the main bedroom or the communal hallway. All of the living area and bedrooms have large, natural wood windows looking out on the surrounding land. Situated up on a knoll, the house is secluded and peaceful, benefiting from a lot of natural sunlight. Located on 8 acres, beyond the front and back lawns is natural woodland with many variety of trees and natural streams, the overall setting and experience of really being in the heart of Catskills nature and all the beauty the seasons have to offer.

Summary: We spent three nights at Nuria and Tim’s home for our 25th Anniversary and we cannot express enough how much we absolutely LOVED staying there. The home is so cozy and comfortable. While in the area we hiked Slide Mountain and Kaaterskill Falls and after the hikes we looked forward to just getting back to the cabin to relax and sit by the fire. The home has everything you need and so much more. It was exactly what we needed, a very relaxing and peaceful weekend away. We highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again. Thank you Nuria and Tim for sharing your very special home.

Summary: Everything was great! The only thing we would have enjoyed was air condition, because a heat wave came through, so it got a little warm. We did enjoy one cool first night around the fire. But the description was accurate and the rest was perfect! The owners communicated so well with everything we needed. Tettas store down the street was perfect, as there isn't much close to the house.

Summary: I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about this property. The moment we walked in, we were amazed at how beautiful this home was, and spent the rest of the weekend soaking in every detail- from the unique art pieces and lighting to the impressive record collection. Pictures simply don't do it justice. This home is the epitome of cozy and classy- seriously, when can I move in? The hosts were very easy to communicate with and left great instructions for check in/out. A number of cute Catskills towns and attractions only a short drive away. This is the perfect getaway. I can't wait to go back!

Summary: My husband and I stayed for three nights at the end of January and had an AMAZING stay. We have stayed in many rental properties in this part of the world over the years and I have to say this has been the nicest place we have stayed in yet. The house is finished really beautifully with some great interior design touches, and we really enjoyed the cozy wood burning fireplace whilst listening to records. I'm an architectural lighting designer so appreciated the very thoughtful lighting that is throughout the house! Overall, the house was incredibly comfortable and we wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely recommend to others looking to stay here. Thanks Nuria and Tim!

Summary: I had a fantastic stay. The decor is stylish yet cozy. The kitchen was really well stocked for cooking (including sharp knives!). They have a GREAT selection of books and music to enjoy during your visit. The beds were very comfortable. The location was close to lots of hiking opportunities. I'll be staying here again.

Summary: This property is truly special. Besides being cozy, comfortable, super clean and with a spacious and stocked kitchen, there are little details throughout the house that give it a distinctive character. We spent hours enjoying their record player and LPs, and reading through cookbooks. Communication with the hosts was easy and smooth, as was the check-in and check-out process. It was the perfect couple's getaway. Highly recommend this home!

Summary: The photos are accurate! A lovely and lovingly appointed home .::in a private setting near wonderful hiking trails with waterfalls! Great kitchen for cooking and making coffee!!! Wonderful music/lp’s and filled with beautiful plants..:great wood burning fireplace and heating system. Bathroom lovely with comfy bathtub. Weather didn’t permit our use of, but beautiful new deck, fire pit and outdoor shower! Owners were very responsive ! I hope to return...
