Summary: Spacious house on a vast farm property with walking trails, lake, and the ability to get away from it all. The directions sent by the host we're spot on and very helpful. I'm so happy we were able to bring the dogs and let them explore, get in the lake, and chase a deer or two. A lot of things were provided like dog bowls and a few spices, oil, foil. Definitely bring groceries or plan on going to the nearest grocery store about 20 minutes away. Loved our time away and plan on going back!

Summary: This property is amazing! We have 2 Labs and they had plenty of room to run, play, and swim. We caught tons of fish in the lake (including a 7lb largemouth my son caught), enjoyed the boat and kayaks, watched three red fox pups playing every day, saw the bald eagle in its nest and my kids (13 & 15) loved visiting Toughie the horse who always came up to say hello. The view from the huge covered front porch is a great place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or watch the occasional thunderstorm roll through. The Smith's are wonderful hosts, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Summary: There are no words that can capture the beauty and tranquility of this property. The home is beautiful and the amenities are an added bonus. We didn't want to leave and neither did our dog. We would love to return.

Summary: Immaculate place. Superbly decorated. Very quiet. Nice linen: beds, sheets, blankets, towels. Comfortable for party of six - eight for supper. Nicely supplied with k-cup coffee brewer, grilling utensils, dishes, gas grill, etc. Saw deer and wild turkeys from the rocking chairs on the front porch. Orchestra of fireflies in the evening and early morning illuminating throughout the valley - quite an experience! We brought our German shepherd; the hosts even had bowls and biscuits for her. Thankful that the Smith's opened their special section of the world to us. Hope to return sometime.

Summary: We all loved our stay so much that we had to add on an extra day. The house being on a hill allowed great a great view. A friendly horse often visited us from behind his fence. We relaxed by the lake in the shade, and used their mountain bikes and pontoon boat. They also had good books games TV and WiFi. Make sure you screenshot the instructions to get to the house, as you will lose cell reception a mile before getting there. The house is comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen. My children wanted to live there forever.

Summary: The farmhouse was lovely and comfortable, and we especially loved how quiet it was except for the sounds of nature. The gazebo by the lake was a delightful bonus, and we had a great time enjoying the water. This definitely made it on the list of places to come back!

Summary: We have been vacationing together as a three generation family group for 16 years. This house was lovely, clean and probably one of the best equipped and provisioned of all our stays. The house is located on a secluded hill on a huge farm. The covered porch is perfect for family time. We enjoyed swimming and boating on the lake, and fun time at a campfire. We highly recommend this property for any group wanting some quiet time to spend together.
