Summary: We enjoyed our stay along with our dogs at the Gazebo. Beautiful mountain views and peaceful environment. Plenty of hiking and quiet country roads to walk the dogs. The cottage is very quaint and tastefully decorated. We hope to be back again.

Summary: Although we weren’t able to get outside as much as we hoped, the fireplace and firewood provided a comforting alternative and the view from the living room was wonderful. Perfectly located for views, we were still close enough to Stockbridge for an afternoon and dinner when the rain let up.

Summary: First and foremost the place is so private and beautiful that it will take your breath away. If privacy & views are what you are looking for you simply can't go wrong. It is a cottage in the woods - literally, so don't think that it's a pristine 5 star hotel. Beautiful mountain views, woods all around, and and some hiking trails behind the cottage. The place is cozy, cool furnishings (really, there are such cool little things everywhere throughout), comfy bed in the MB, and the bathroom/shower are fine. In retrospect, for our own comfort, we'd perhaps have brought an extra bath towel or two, some firewood (plenty around but it was a bit damp for foraging), and made sure the heating system was turned on (if your trip is in the fall/winter months). The kitchen has plenty of cooking implements; bring any special spices/oils you need if you plan on cooking a lot. We cooked breakfast, but the property is close to all the Berkshires has to offer for other meals. Really couldn't have asked for a nicer spot - sincere thanks to the host!

Summary: We had a most pleasant stay and are actually considering coming back for another visit in the fall if there's availability . Two improvements we would love to see. 1. more complete assortment of pots and pans with lids that fit. 2. the sofa is really in urgent need of being re-stuffed. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed a long weekend in The Gazebo. It’s a very quiet location with nice views and lots of privacy. The Gazebo was very comfortable and clean. We liked the outdoor patio and tennis court. We were happy to bring our very small dog although a little concerned about animals (possibly a bear) that came by and knocked over the trash can at night. Overall highly recommend!
