This accomodation is perfect for who wants to escape from the chaos of the city and enjoys the "Roman countryside". 20 km far from the Eternal City the house is situated in a private compound called Olgiata, near one of the most beautiful golf courses of center Italy.
The Villa is submerged in nature making it ideal for families with children and pets and peolple who look for a quiet and relaxed surrounding. It is on two levels and finely furnished in a classy Italian style. It is equipped for 5 people but if required one additional bed can be provided.
From mid May till end of September the beautiful and large host 's swimming pool is open for all guests of the propriety.

Summary: Great location for visiting Rome(which is extremely accessible by train) and local area including the lake at Bracciano.. Really helpful hosts, who recommended restaurants and places to see and were always happy to answer any questions. Traditional villa with comfortable accommodation. You have free access to the owners pool which is a fantastic soze and really enjoyed by us all. Would recommend this villa .

Summary: We had a great time at Flavia's house in Italy. The house is in a gated community with lots of space for everybody. The most outstanding feature is the pool though. Its temperature was perfect and I have never seen a private pool this big. We went in the pool everyday on our one week visit. The outside patio is another great area where we hung out a lot but there are mosquitos. It's a 10min drive from the house to get to the train station (free parking) and from there it's an easy 40min train ride into Rome. We can only recommend this house for a trip to discover both Rome and its surrounding areas.

Summary: We spent in Olgiata 8 days in July. The house is big and beautiful but needs refreshing. The bedrooms were prepared, beds made, toilets clean but floors, tables and furniture in the living room were dusted with spiderwebs in corners . The garden all around the house was beautiful but unfortunately there was a lot mosquitoes. That’s way we cannot air the house in the evening and the temperature was over 30 deg. There was air conditioning only in 2 bedrooms and sleeping in other rooms due the temperature was impossible ( we were group of 8). The swimming pool is shared with the owner of the house but that wasn’t a problem she was very discrete. All in all the stay was nice and the owner was very likeable.

Summary: We stayed at Flavia's property for ten days with two small kids and my parents, to visit our relatives in Roma. We chose for a place outside the city with a pool to offer some refreshing moments during the warm days of August. The stay was very relaxing for all of us! The pool is huge and both kids and adults enjoyed it to the max. The house is equipped with everything you may need and when we requested an extra mattress so both kids could sleep in the same room, Flavia and her son straight away came to deliver it to the room. Even though the house is located at the property of Flavia and her family, the place is so spacious and green that it really felt very private. And the garden is absolutely gorgeous and very large. The only down side of our trip was the many mosquitoes ;). What we also enjoyed was the restaurants recommended by Flavia, make sure to check those out!

Summary: Flavia and Antonio were so welcoming and provided accommodation of a very high standard with a welcome pack that was second to none. Traditionally decorated the house made us feel at home as there were beautiful personal touches. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with a coffee maker and a juicer as well as the usual gadgets. Bedroom arrangements upstairs meant that the single room and twin room are / can be accessed by the one stair. One bathroom for both bedrooms. About 1 hour from Rome by train with a 10 min drive to the station meant that we did some site seeing but were happy to sunbathe in the garden or by the pool other days. Found a couple of fantastic restaurants a short drive away- superb! Quite hot in July and with no air conditioning it was hot but Flavia had provided fans that helped. Bikes and table tennis also provided. A fantastic property in a beautiful gated community about 1 hour outside Rome but with the opportunity to explore some other local villages.

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay here. The home is well appointed and updated beautifully. The setting is tranquil with lovely grounds and nice seating outside.
