Positive: This is our second visit and we absolutely love Chateau Ingrandes. It is a treat to stay in such a historic building that has been so lovingly restored by it's owners. The hosts are very friendly and full of information about the history of the chateau. We enjoyed the swimming pool and gardens and watching wildlife. The delicious breakfast was outside in the garden and included local cheeses and meats. We will definitely be back.

Positive: The property is romantic and very well kept. The petit déjeuner is exceptional, served on beautiful porcelain which changes daily. The coffee is delicious, enhanced by the Limoges porcelain coffee cups. The property is managed by excellent hosts, a husbands and wife team whose love for the family chateau, its history and its soul, wafts throughout the premises, in a manner as lovely as the roses and vines which adorn the walls and towers of the chateau.

Negative: The originally booked room was unavailable due to A/C failure. The alternative didn’t offer two seperate bedrooms (but was very comfortable nevertheless).

Positive: Philippe and Guadalupe provided an extremely generous and delicious breakfast: prosciutto, baguette, croissants, chocolatine, fresh fruit, orange or apple juice, delicious coffee. They joined us for breakfast also and told us the interesting history of the castle. We’ve been touring Europe for months and this was one of the best, if not the best, holiday places we’ve stayed in. What a wonderful experience! We would highly recommend this extraordinary place managed by equally extraordinary and wonderful people!
Negative: Everything was excellent.
