Positive: Everything, from Check in to checkout all the staff were so attentive and friendly. In eight they even brought in the chef for us to sit in the dining room and have dinner, all the food we had here is quality and the best we had in France. Nothings too much and the grounds are amazing, I ran around the estate and enjoyed a 7km walk. The ruins are a massive bonus and the history here is so interesting. The room upgrade was an added bonus. Cannot wait for the spa to be redone so we can visit again. The champagne is a must too.

Summary: What a treat this chateau is, and for our 25th wedding anniversary we couldn’t have asked for better. Shhh don’t tell

Positive: Beautiful chateau with a fantastic ruin just behind it. Reception was easy and concierge capable and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and a fabulous bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. Dinner was very good. I’d definitely recommend going and we intend on returning.

Negative: Minor point only was the breakfast service was slightly disjointed but the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

Summary: Fabulous, historical place in beautiful surroundings.
