Positive: Fantastic bedroom, nicely decorated and very comfortable bed with beautiful views over the rose garden. The dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was also delicious - especially the crème brûlée!
Negative: The shower in the bathroom didn’t really get hot nor did the water drain which meant we were constantly trying not to flood the bathroom. The breakfast was also a bit of a let down and the checkout was an almost painfully lengthy process

Positive: The pool was very relaxing and tucked away behind the main grounds. The first night’s dinner was the best confit salmon I had ever had. The staff were also very attentive and wonderful to interact with.
Negative: The food quality was inconsistent. The one reception/wait staff is not there all day and we got locked out of our room due to our key card being disabled the second day we stayed. We had to wait a few hours for the key card to be reactivated and this made us late to the wedding we were attending. Also we were locked out from the main entrance when returning after 10:30 PM the second and third nights we stayed.
Summary: A beautiful castle experience if seclusion from everyday life is desired.

Positive: Loved the grounds, the swimming pool, beautiful chateau.
Negative: - Amateurish reception staff - very small shower and very small bedroom - no air conditioning - not even a bottle of water in the room, as it’s part of the mini bar (5 euros for 50cl). It is outrageous!
Summary: Gorgeous chateau but outdated bathrooms and reception staff is not good enough

Positive: Looks absolutely amazing from the outside, the restaurant food was good, and the room comfortable. The views were lovely of the garden. The staff were friendly.
Negative: The character is lacking inside, lifts and corridors and a dining room extension that does nothing for the beauty of the chateau make it quite old fashioned in a basic hotel sort of way. You have to order drinks at reception then go up one floor to the bar for service…all very bizarre which does nothing to improve the clinical feel.

Positive: Beautiful chateau in a lovely setting. Newly refurbished, the walls were covered in material in the bedroom! Very luxurious. Had ample room to park our car and trailer. Very helpful young man on the desk - he was the only person we saw. Very quiet, down a small country lane but close to a small town with bars and restaurants.
Negative: Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open so had to it in the nearest town about 6km away and the very helpful young man forgot to tell us the door code's weren't working to get back in and it was all locked up. Fortunately some other guests got us in!
Summary: A beautiful chateau and a perfect stay on our way south

Positive: Amazing place, very well renovated. Comfortable and great facilities. The few staff on site were very friendly and helpful ( except for the last morning ).
Negative: Unfortunately, there was no restaurant service and the establishment was running on skeleton staff. One night we had the whole chateau to ourselves!
Summary: Place with great potential, but check whether the restaurant is open before booking.

Positive: Big castle far from any attractions, quite isolated from anything. I had impression we were the only guests in entire hotel. It was very quiet haven’t met any other person there except lady at the reception desk, who lives in the evening and you should use code to enter the castle. No one in the restaurant as well, it was closed. We could not find any place around to eat as it was Monday, but receptionist booked us a restaurant in the village, the only one that was open that evening, and it was good. We had quite big room, nice bathroom, bath robes, products etc.
Negative: All was good, we enjoyed our quiet stay. Of course you can come there only by car and be prepared to drive if you want to visit other castles.

Positive: This was a beautiful property. We were travelling through to the South and wanted somewhere as a nicer alternative than “just a bed”. We actually had the whole property to ourselves. My parents room had been upgraded and I paid to also upgrade my room - I would recommend doing so as the large rooms are phenomenal. The pool was excellent and the manager made sure we had more than enough choice at breakfast!
Negative: Not much! The property is in the countryside however was only 7 minute drive to a recommended restaurant for dinner which was great!
Summary: Beautiful country property with boutique feel

Positive: An interesting building with a lot of history. Quality well designed fixtures and fittings, nice decor throughout. in a lovely location and with a superb pool. The few staff that are there are very pleasant and do their very best. We very much enjoyed the tranquility and splendour the hotel and its extensive grounds had to offer - although the garden is in need of better attention.
Negative: The hotel is, sadly, very under staffed and cannot therefore offer the sort of service expected at this price. The restaurant and bar are closed. A mediocre breakfast is the only food on offer. Hot drinks from a machine! There is no air conditioning and no wifi except in reception and the mobile signal is weak.
