Positive: The accommodation for visitors is in newly converted out-buildings. Ours, the four hundred year old ottage, was quirky, big enough for the two of us and our dog and was adequately equipped in the tiny kitchen. The shower upstairs was excellent and there were lots of towels. The present access to the first floor is very challenging, as described in their information, and a closed step staircase is on the cards. The bedroom is large and the bed very comfortable.

Positive: Exceptionally friendly and helpful host, Rosemary, waited up for us until past midnight as we were delayed. Gave us a warm welcome and then made the most wonderful breakfast for us and brought it to our cottage the next morning. Very comfortable and fresh bed. A charming period renovation with heaps of character.
Negative: I’m nit picking here but it was tricky to locate the white gates to the driveway in the dark with no streetlighting, but we nailed it on the 4th pass. LOL.
Summary: Exceeded expectations for the price. I sensed that a lot of effort had been made so I wish every success to this new ent

Positive: Having stayed here on our way to our destination we booked for the return journey. Better second visit, parked the car with roof box on outside the front door. We relaxed watched a film before bed, again great beds & wonderful cotton linen. 2 showers in the property so getting the 3 of us ready in time no problem. We had not stopped to get any shopping for breakfast, contacted the hosts at 7pm & asked if breakfast was possibly for 9 am. Breakfast arrived , eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, fresh fruit, warm french bread, croissants,jam etc/ Wonderful start to our day. Will definitely stay again when in France. Genuine hosts so helpful.

Positive: Picture does not do justice to the property. Beautiful stone barn, large lounge, kitchen & dinning table. Bedrooms upstairs, Wonderful comfortable beds with good quality bed linen, excellent nights sleep. We are on our way to South West France and so liked his stopover that we have booked for the return journey
Negative: A little difficult to find
Summary: Excellent overnight stop for my wife & I plus 94 year old mother in law plus our small dog

Positive: This is a really great hotel and though still work to be done, and visibly works are on going, it's a rough diamond at the moment, but soon it'll be pretty amazing. Delightful hosts, great location and good for us and our dog. Noise from the main road was no issue for us at all.
Negative: It needs a big visible sign by the white entrance gates as it's on the main road, the white entrance gates need to be open and the stairs in the cottage should be a priority to finish

Positive: Hosts very helpful. Very atmospheric very old bakery conversion. Renovations still to be completed but we dearly loved this place. Cosy with the log fire going and all the authentic old beams and the old wood fired oven in situ! Also breakfast on the morning of our departure was excellent with great attention to detail.
Negative: There is still some work to be done on this cottage and we would love to see the finished project.
Summary: Perfect stopover on the way south,with plenty of room for the dog.

Positive: Location is good for stopover, a few minutes from motorway. It's a new letting so a lot was still in it's wrapping, ie cutlery ,tea towels etc. It was warm and clean. Comfortable beds. Large living area. Small kitchen. Great parking area. Beside a main road but not too much noise. Easy to find. Just a few niggles but we would stay again.
Negative: No wi-fi, details say there is a fridge but none in site, no kitchen bin. When we stayed it was a very windy night and the front door needed to be wedged to stop the rattling,
