Summary: This was our 2nd year at this house and town. We love the spaciousness of the house and Garden. The pool is lovely. The House is very well equipped with all modern applicances. The location is only a 10minute walk into the town and beach promenade. Great town with all you can ask for. Town is very close to La Rochelle - 20minute drive or just a 15 minute train ride from the local train station. Restaurants in the town and beach area are all very good with really nice staff. During july there are many festivals in the town too.

Summary: The property was exactly as described. it was very clean. The hosts were very nice and easy to deal with and were on time when we arranged to collect the key. The house was extremely well fitted out with all kitchen conveniences and a great Nespresso Machine. The BBQ was great with ample gas supplied. Garden and Pool were lovely. Only a 10minute walk into the village, 15mins walk to the beach promienade. great location in a quiet neighborhood.

Summary: We had a great week in the house and Châtelaillon-Plage, the house was perfect for the two families who stayed. The pool was loved by the children, whilst the adults enjoyed the garden and relaxing in the sun. We went with my wife’s sisters family and the house was plenty big enough for the nine of us. If needed a quiet corner could always be found. The only slight downside was the weather was so hot lots of insects were about, but the children loved chasing them with fly swats! The house had all we needed both in terms of large equipment and also kitchen utensils etc. The BBQ was well used as was all the garden furniture. A slight confusion on the sheets (our error)was quickly resolved and greatly appreciated. Châtelaillon-Plage is lovely and has all you can want for a family holiday in France. Thanks Sophie we will be returning.
