Summary: A beautiful hotel that is located within a park area. Close to restaurants, felt safe walking. Wonderful hotel staff that is so very helpful. Hotel restaurant was super with a great selection of foods.

Summary: Of the hundreds of hotels that I’ve stayed at in Asia over the past 20 years this is one of the very best! And I so wish I could stay at the Chatrium again in the future, because pretty much everything was perfect. The only problem is some highly inappropriate material displayed in the main reception area, and so in good conscience I cannot ever stay at this fine hotel in the future. Thanks so much for all the great memories from previous stays. Your accommodations and staff have been spectacular

Summary: The Chatrium is reputed to be one of the luxury hotels in Yangon. It did not measure up to my idea of luxury. The room was nice, but the toilet did not flush completely. My room felt like it was above a club even though the club was across the street. I could feel the beat vibrations in the room. My experience was also tainted by the huge amount of people at the hotel because of the Thingyan festival. It was not a quiet, relaxing experience. They did, however, have really good fish and chips.
