Positive: Loved the friendliness and helpful attitudes of the staff. Apart from the couple times that water availability was an issue, I greatly appreciated the showers having hot water. Location is ideal, right in El Centro, close to the school where I was taking Spanish.

Negative: The building was a bit run down and the harsh rain caused leaks in several places. Quiet time after 11pm was sometimes not the case....but this is more a lack of respect from other guests, not the hotel.

Summary: Backpacker's Budget Friendly...and just plain Friendly Stay!

Positive: Very cheap, and therefore good value for money. Great location. Roof terrace. Stayed three nights.

Negative: Far from soundproof, cold showers, light is missing on roof terrace.

Negative: No hot water!!! in cuenca’s weather it’s problematic. Staff is not very helpful. You have to go down one floor to have access to bathroom and toilet when you are in the dorm. Look older that in pictures. Not backpackers vibe. Pill too small

Positive: Location was great, close to everything. Hot shower, the facilities were clean all the time which was nice.

Negative: We chose this place because of the included breakfast but compared to our previous stays in Ecuador it wasn’t very satisfying.
