Check the surf out at Fenway Beach from the front terrace then walk there in 5 minutes and dive in it. At the end of a pleasant beach day, relax on that same terrace with your refreshment in hand and watch the sun set over the beaches of Misquamicut and Watch Hill. Later, as the moon rises, wrap yourself in a blanket on the terrace and watch the frequent fireworks displays mixed with the starry night sky.
Fondly known as 'The Nest' by the longtime owners, the cottage was built in 1894 as a small guest abode behind the neighboring house. Over the next 100 years it was added onto little by little. The front bedroom has a Queen size bed and private bathroom. The middle bedroom has a Queen size bed and shares a quaint bathroom adorned with a claw footed tub, with the third bedroom. The living and dining areas are combined in one space, with a bay window that looks southwest to Watch Hill. A new addition to the cottage is now complete and also included in the rental - it has a bedroom with queen bed and bath and sitting area with small balcony upstairs with views to Watch Hill, and a bedroom with queen bed and two fold down bunk beds, downstairs with bathroom, family room and dining area. Family room has large screen TV for those rainy days, or evenings when you just want to be entertained.
This house is a place where generations have come to enjoy the beach and the quiet seaside community of Weekapaug. It is situated on a large private lot. There are no granite counter tops; no wall to wall carpeting, no fancy stainless steel kitchen appliances in this house. But what you will find at 'The Nest' is a patina polished by time and family love.

Summary: This cottage has the best of both worlds for an enjoyable beach vacation. The "Nest and Perch" property is a combination of classic Rhode Island shore cottage with a new addition that gives space and comfort. Cottage is well appointed, comfortable and homey with board games and books for days when weather keeps you off the beach; Location is within a 5 min walk from two beautiful swimming beaches and about a 10-15 minute drive from many fine restaurants and shopping areas. There is room for extended family to enjoy and relax in 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bath rooms. Spacious yard and patio with beautiful coastal views and two outdoor showers to rinse off. Just pack your swim suite. There are beach chairs and towels provided. The kitchen was small but efficient and well stocked with everything you need. There is an extra refrigerator in the garage and two washer/dryer units. The owner is responsive and very gracious. We all look forward to our next stay here.

Summary: My family and I used to come to Weekapaug each summer with my grandmother. This was the first time in more than 20 years that we were all together there, and it was as special as we remembered. This property was perfect for us and we will absolutely be booking again. Communication was easy, check in was a breeze.

Summary: The house in Weekapaug was so unique. The biggest decision for us was who would sleep in what bedroom - and what house. There is an original house, had the feel of the dude ranch we visited last summer. Then there is a new house with a nice dining table for eating together and games and a balcony with a nice view of the beach. Loved the fact that we could walk to #2 local beaches! Loved the little breakfast sandwhich shop around the corner too!

Summary: The place was amazing, quietly positioned between two pristine beaches while nestled away on a quiet side street with water views and a great yard. The time was filled with fun bike rides, great morning walks and quick easy trips to the beaches. Great quiet neighborhood and great house with nice dinners on the patio looking toward Watch Hill as the sun set. A Weekapaug Gem!

Summary: Beautiful addition just added with ocean views from master balcony. Gorgeous, well manicured lawn and property with two outdoor showers, two picnic benches and grills to enjoy a sunset bbq. Quick walk to Fenway private Beach. Owners fully stocked the home with every supply needed to cook, grill and enjoy a relaxing beach stay. owners were so wonderful to work with and responsive. Thank you to the all the families for sharing their home with us!!

Summary: Either a classic older style beach house or a modern classy feel, this property has them both. Then your choice of experience minutes from your front doors. No boring here, only need to choose a direction. We loved the neighborhood, beaches, views, and central proximity to all our needs.

Summary: Great beach access, all the surf and sand toys you need, sweet neighborhood, backyard ocean views, responsive host family, short drive to restaurants and groceries, walkable fine dining at the Weekapaug Inn. The only drawback was the small, yet functional and equipped, kitchen.

Summary: The conditions were excellent, clean and cozy. The furnishings were artistic and promoted relaxation. We easily slept 10 using the pullout in the living room, and fit a crib for the baby. An easy walk to three different type beaches. Bike riding and surf swimming was a lot of fun. We'll go again next year.
