Summary: To start, I really liked this house and the area. The owner/manager was wonderful to work with as well. Great price and tons of space. There were a few things that could greatly improve it, though. First, it is very sparsely furnished. A few more couches, area rugs, etc, would make it feel much more homey. Second, it seems like there's a lot of simple maintenance that is needed. There were loose fixtures, etc, and some cleanliness issues in areas like the kitchen and bathrooms. With all this space, I felt like the beds could have easily been bigger, rather than all queen/double sized. A king size or two really takes it to the next level. The bedding and towels seemed like a random hodge-podge, but all were clean. My largest issue with this house was the kitchen, which was sadly understocked. If a house is advertised as being able to accommodate 14 people, you should really have more than 7 spoons. There weren't enough cereal bowls, either. The toaster was broken on one side, so you could only do 1 piece of toast at a time, and the oven/stove was really not clean. The pots and pans, on the other hand, were excellent. Some of these things are a bit nit-picky, but they make a difference. I feel like a small investment on the owner's part could really take this house from "nice" to "Exceptional". Overall, I WOULD recommend this property for anyone spending a few days in the Calgary area. It worked out well for my group of 10.

Summary: Nice neighborhood, and not far from Calgary. The house inside is very clean and tidy. The air condition worked very well, it can both heat up and cool down very soon. But sometimes the preset temperature program is annoying, it may blow cold air during the night or in the morning, you have to set it back manually. Another drawback could be the setup of mirrors in the basement. One bedroom has a mirror right in front of the bed, and there is another mirror which was not hinged on the wall behind the sink of the washroom but was put on the opposite wall. Overall, the house is great, plenty room plus couple sofa beds, and kind house owner to communicate.

Summary: Communication with the owners was excellent! They were helpful and accommodating. We were short on spoons, and good pillows, but I think this happens with home vacation rentals. The house was large and easily fit our very big family - We appreciated the opportunity to be all together! We would definitely rent this property again!

Summary: Check in was great, they managed to get us in early check in. The house is big and had suitable rooms but the cleanliness could have been a lot better. Patio area was a huge mess no propane in the BBQ, there was old garbage found in the living room and the pot and pans were less than adequate. The host did respond and bring in new dishware, paid for the propane and got a cleaner for the patio which was nice but I feel as if this should have been done before we checked in with our family's.

Summary: Exactly as advertised. Spacious, many bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds and linens. Clean, open, nice. Note that apart from couches and video screen in the family room, and a large dining room table, there is very little furniture apart from the beds - which is exactly as pictured - so the place does feel a little un-lived-in. But our almost-five-year old and our almost-two-year-old loved running around the very open main floor, and having bedtime baths in the large jetted tub upstairs in the master bedroom. And the owner/manager was tops! A real find in a quiet neighbourhood.
