Positive: Older hotel but with nice upgrades (love the walk-in showers). The outdoor hot tub on the beach year-round is amazing. Breakfast is included and Laura is the BEST — always so positive and friendly!

Positive: Staff was very friendly. Check in was easy. Room was huge (we had a lake-facing suite). Breakfast was nice, but could easily be expanded (toppings for yogurt, more types of cereal).
Negative: Facilities were a bit tired. Several items in the room did not work: bathroom fan did not work, desk chair could not maintain height, A/C was weak, deck was full of spiders (it obviously had not been swept or cleaned in forever). Decorations were sparse and plain. I recognize that there is a premium on price for lakefront, but I also expected more for the amount I paid.
Summary: Great location with great views, facilities are a little dated and tired.

Negative: I wish the breakfast room hadn’t used so many disposable items. The plastic trash must be huge.

Positive: I pretty much liked everything. My room, the staff, Laura the breakfast attendant was the best!! Location, and the facilities on site The view from my room was outstanding
Negative: Little early in the year but they probably should clean up the outdoor patio, the outdoor pool and hot tub area. Spiderwebs!! I am petrified of spiders
