Positive: I really enjoyed my stay here, it is perfect for a backpacker on a budget and also for anyone who loves cats and dogs as they are friendly if you interact with them. The owner and staff were really friendly as well throughout my stay.

Negative: Only problem was it was a cold shower, but if you're wanting budget accomodation in Bora Bora you should be prepared to make sacrifices, it's warm outside anyway!

Positive: I am conflicted on writing this review. On the one hand, the owner is a lovely, tough, single mother who is trying to manage (and I want to support her), but on the other, the property is seriously below par. I love the owner, and her energy. But the property needs serious updating. So, here goes. Positives : - great owner, two daughters, a loving dog, and a typically arrogant cat. You are literally living in the same space as the host family. - good location (supermarket about 2 mins walk, Viatape centre about 8-10 mins, gym about 2 mins). - I met a couple of great travellers whilst there, so I really enjoyed my stay due to their stay.

Negative: Property needs SERIOUS updating. See photos. My double room had big gaps in the ceiling. There's no lock, not even a handle on the door. The fan had no front cover - be careful not to get your fingers sliced off at night. Kitchen didn't look clean at all, and I would not cook there. Wifi - I had to ask for this to be turned on. It worked well one day, but no wifi for the next 2 days.

Summary: Great host, good location, but property is very, very basic.
