- Always supervise children when outdoors, especially in the dock area & keep children clear of deck railing
- The terrain is rocky and native cactus are plentiful, so always wear shoes outside
- No children under age 5 permitted on the top level of bunkbed; Each bunk level has a capacity of 400lbs per manufacturer
- Two people required to adjust futon sofa to bed position and return to sofa position
- Swim at your own risk (rescue life-preserver ring provided on dock)
- You must complete and return the liability waiver before you use the kayaks. Kayak use is at your own risk (life vests provided but no guarantee for safety)
- NOTE: guests are welcome to swim at their own comfort and discretion at the nearby lake as well
- Outside campfires only permitted in provided confined fire pits during times when there are no fire bans in place. Check the Palo Pinto County website: http://www.co.palo-pinto.tx.us/
- Do not move fire pits. Fires must be attended at all times. Put out the fire completely before leaving the site
- Do not move/use the Pelican fishing boat; this is owner use only
- The dock lift is not to be raised or lowered by guests; please leave in current position which is optimal for launching the kayaks
- Bath towels for indoor use only; beach towels are provided for outdoor use
- Murphy beds are not for guest use; they are for owner use only
- Please burn only man-made packaged fire logs in the Master Bedroom fireplace; otherwise the room gets too smoky
