Negative: It's a long two flights up to the apartment.

Negative: Sirens every day and the squeaky floor boards on the third floor.

Positive: The property was nicely decorated. The bed and couch were comfortable. The location was great. There were an abundance of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
Negative: The room is not adequately cooled for the hot summer months. We had to ask the host to come look at the wall-mounted a/c unit because it was very hot (76 degrees) in the space. We had to leave the ceiling fan on high at all times and we slept with no cover for the first two nights. We also had to go buy a box fan that stayed pointed at the bed during the entire stay. The host offered to put an a/c unit in the window and it was mildly pleasant after that. But it never really was cool in the space. I believe it doesn't have adequate insulation for being a third floor space in an old building. Also, there was no coffee for the coffee pot.
Summary: The host was very accommodating, the space was cute, and the location was great.

Positive: A lovely very well appointed and furnished apartment unit .. very clean and comfortable.
Negative: Issues which need to be pointed out... 1, The street entrance door requires a key obtained from a fiddly coded drop-box each time to enter the building , which is both awkward and irritating at night or when its raining. 2, There are about 45 stairs to the 2nd floor unit which makes it extremely difficult for travellers with luggage or for those with restricted mobility. 3, The annoying town clock bell which rings on the hour ..every hour.. day and night-24hrs a day... makes a good nights sleep almost impossible and should have been mentioned. 4, Finally,.... the noise of some rodent infestation in the ceiling and wall at the bedhead , which was particularly evident at night was very upsetting and unnerving and totally unacceptable !! just being honest...We will not be returning ...and its a pity.
