Summary:
Located in Chic’s Beach with restaurants, bars and a brewery within walking distance. Beach is directly across a private road with beach access less than 100 yards. Beautifully renovated 2 bedroom/1.5 bath duplex (both sides rentable). Two parking spaces per unit.

PLEASE NOTE: Our nightly rate includes local taxes. Airbnb collects State taxes.

Comes equipped with sheets, towels, kitchen towels, beach chairs and beach towels.

The Space:
This duplex is truly beautiful with top end finishes. New deck on second floor with bay view and breezes. First floor new deck with grill and picnic table perfect for cookouts.

Guest Access:
Access to entire duplex unit.

The Neighborhood:
Chic’s Beach is a quaint and eclectic beach community with a wide, white sand beach on the Chesapeake Bay. Restaurants, bars and Jr Market are within short walking distance.

Other Things to Note:
House rules:
• Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Any smoking must be outdoors at least 25 ft from the building. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
• No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy of 4 will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• No fires or fire pits allowed on the beach.
• No fireworks allowed on the beach. Use of fireworks will result in a breach of house rules as many house fires have been started in the area due to fireworks.
• Please stay off of the rocks on the beach, as they become slippery and can be quite dangerous.

Check-out Instructions:
- Check-out is 11am
- Clean the dishes & return them
- Turn TV off
- Leave AC on in summer and heat on in winter
- Lock door behind you

Summary: My fiance & I traveled to VA Beach for a work trip. I chose this property because it was not far from our destination but also its was cute and cozy.i want to state that from the start the owners were very helpful. They always anwered in a time manner. This property has a great view of the water, it is 1 street away. This property is 1 of 2 units attached together. The walls are quite thin just be aware, you can hear everything. There were minor things that I informed the owners of & attached photos for references. Overall our stay was great & I highly recommended going to stay in their residence.

Summary: The apartment itself is clean, but it's missing some really basic amenities: there are no hangers, there are no blankets (each bed has a thin bedspread) and the 4 towels are the lowest quality I've ever seen. The apartment itself has very thin walls. You will hear every sound nextdoor. The beds are a bit rickety, which is how I know what my neighbors were doing at 5am. (Not their fault, there's no way I couldn't know!) Appliances, WiFi and TV all worked fine. The rental agent was very responsive to my requests for assistance when one of my neighbors was hosting a party next door. I appreciated that help. So I would say that if you're not sensitive to noise, and you're looking for a place relatively close to the beach, this place is fine. If you're a couple of older folks staying a few weeks to get away from the winter, this might not be a good fit.

Summary: First time staying off the bay and we truly enjoyed it! Very welcoming and cozy place and I will definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Summary: We liked the location because it was close to the bay and the place was nicely renovated. We did have trouble with the Roku tv not working and the washer being moldy and it was difficult to get the owners to respond to requests for help and these problems were never resolved and emails went unanswered.

Summary: I think this was a very nice place at the time photos were taken, but who knows how long ago that was. It’s not bad but is looking a little neglected. It needs some minor maintenance and deep cleaning. I emailed the property management company, Tesseract about the gross moldy shower and stained dirty couch but no one responded and I just kept getting “canned” emails from them. I had to go to the store , buy Tilex and a scrub brush and scrub the moldy grout myself. We put a blanket on the couch so we could sit on it. There were finger smudges on the fridge and cabinets. The house needs power washing, the kitchen window was so dirty you could hardly see the slight water view through it. The splintering wood picnic table is very weathered and should be replaced with something more durable. Needs paint touch up on front door and some walls inside. I should be refunded some of the cleaning fee, as I should charge them for deep cleaning their shower! Other than those things I really liked the house and the location was good. I must say they got the important things like a comfortable bed right, and the air conditioning works great! But what if I had a serious problem? The “property management” seems to just be an automated email system.

Summary: Excellent experience all around. We loved the location and proximity to the beach. The unit was very clean. Good spot for relaxing, cooking, beds were comfortable. Owners were responsive when we had questions. Highly recommend.
