Summary: We were looking to escape the summer heat wave and found this cabin. It had the comforts of home with a deck overlooking the woods. Had a great time going out, and sleeping in the cool air. Hosts are very responsive and friendly!

Summary: We stayed here for the New Year’s holiday with my husband, 6-month old, Pomeranian, brother and his girlfriend. While comfortable, we found the property to be a little off the beaten path from Saugerties, Hunter, Windham and Hudson. We found ourselves cooking more than we would have liked since we were so far away from local eateries. While there was plenty of room for us all, the house could have been cleaner. Still, it was a very nice stay given the reason for our travels.

Summary: The pictures are accurate and home was clean. Owner was very responsive. The house backs up onto woods and is scenic. However this was 45 minutes from windham ski resort. I would not recommend it for a ski weekend.

Summary: An immaculate, attractive, and comfortable house in a private setting with everything we needed for a long weekend in the country. The road is great for running or walking. A few minor suggestions: Explain the TV setup in advance so guests know there are no broadcast or cable channels, only streaming services that require personal accounts. Provide a separate trash can in the kitchen for recyclables. Change the bulbs in the chandelier—the ones there are so harsh that we couldn’t use the fixture. But overall, we really enjoyed the house and the location. We highly recommend it.

Summary: This house is beautiful and it has everything you need to spend some relaxing time away from NYC. It has a wonderful deck were you can enjoy the tranquility of the trees, fresh air and some chipmunks running outside. The town with stores and restaurants is 16 minutes drive away, we recommend Mrs. Lucy's Kitchen and Ohana Cafe.

Summary: My family and I stayed for the month of August and it was great. The house was exactly as expected and in a great location, quiet and relaxing, close to hiking trails and swimming holes and easy to get to Woodstock, Saugerties and several other smaller towns. Communication with the owner/manager was great, would reply very quickly anytime we had questions. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: My wife and I stayed at this house for 2 nights during memorial weekend and it was great. The house looks way better than the photos online. I definitely recommend to stay here and the host was very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you!!!

Summary: Kitchen, bathrooms, and beds were clean and comfortable. The house was perfect for our group size. Check in/check out were easy, and we found our stay delightful. This is a great jumping off point for some great hikes in the area, trips into Saugerties, or just casual relaxing amidst a peaceful, wooded, backdrop.

Summary: We were 2 couples escaping NYC to get in some skiing over the weekend and booked this house last minute. We were very pleased with the house; it was better than expected! The house is updated, fully stocked, well decorated, clean, and comfortable. Additionally, Doug was super helpful, responsive, and flexible, which allowed us to really enjoy our time up there. I highly recommend this house.
