Negative: Smell in the room . Not a bad smell it was very clean but so strong like an air freshener or something . I'm just sensitive to this type of artificial stuff .

Positive: It was later in the evening that I had made my reservation, and I was only an hour away from the Chief Motel. When I got there my key was ready and my room was perfect. The room was clean and had many amenities. The bed was very comfortable.

Positive: Bed was comfortable. Shower had hot water quick. The check-in was pleasant and staff was courteous and helpful. Convenient to Custer state park. TV worked well after we got it plugged back in. (Someone had unplugged it)
Negative: Parking had one truck parked too far in harder to get around. Another was put in room beside us and we put cooler in back seat hard to get things out of your car when ones parked by us and the rest of parking lot seemed empty. Had a porch so you couldn't park as close had to carry everything around the vehicles and the porch. My husband is handicapped so it was harder but , I hadn't specified needing handicapped since all on ground floor.

Positive: The rooms were very clean, it was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave, also there were a lot of nice big towels. Oh yes and the pool was huge!!
Negative: Some of the parking spaces are kind of difficult, but again there’s not much you can do about that.
Summary: Our stay was very comfortable, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
