The 18 th century farmhouse and cottage are let as one unit and are suitable for larger family groups of 10 to 13 + cots. They are away from the other two houses down a private drive in their own gardens.
The arched granite doorway opens in to a large lounge with comfortable chairs and sofas , TV with freeview channels, and DVD player. The fitted kitchen which has an electric oven and hob, gas hob, large fridge/ freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, kettles, toaster, coffee machine, hand blender etc. Separate dining room and utility room with an extra fridge/freezer, shower and toilet, washing machine , hoover , iron and ironing board.
Upstairs there are a family bedroom (double and single bed) with en-suite shower and toilet. Two double bedrooms a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
The small cottage next door has one large bedroom with a double bed and two singles. Downstairs is the bathroom and kitchen/lounge area
Access to the pool is shared with 2 other cottages.
Only 40 minutes from the coast you will find our lovely 17/18th century hamlet of Kermarc'h set in 4 acres of trees, fields and gardens. Here on site you will enjoy swimming in our professionally installed 12 x 6m heated, fenced swimming pool with a shallow end and Roman steps. The pool is heated and is normally open from the end of May to the end of September. The pool is sheltered and well positioned to be in full sun all day with tables, chairs, parasols and sun loungers to relax on. Also in the grounds is a boules court, trampoline with safety net, table tennis, children’s swing and slide, plastic playhouse and activity centre, swingball, table football, badminton, soft archery and a large wooden play fort. We also have a field that is kept cut for ball games (football, cricket and rounders) so that the young ones can play within sight but without disturbing the adults. Lots of space for parking in the grounds. Well behaved dogs may be accepted.There are 3 properties set in 4 acres at Kermarc'h with a large heated and fenced swimming pool and are suitable for large family groups/friends of up to 28 + cots

Summary: Carolyn and David are lovely hosts. The accommodation is spacious and our kids loved the pool. Sadly the weather and work didn’t play ball so we had to cut our time short!

Summary: This beautiful property is nestled in the peaceful, rural countryside of Brittany. It is well placed for visiting the Lac de Guerledan with its attractive beaches and waterside activities. We also visited Pontivy, the beach at Binic and some of the local towns such as Quintin. We were a party of 11 ranging from toddlers to retirees and found the property to be well equipped and spacious. The outdoor space was particularly attractive and the children were very happy with the play equipment and trampoline. We all had great fun swimming in the clean, warm swimming pool. The supermarket and local shops were all handy. The owners were very friendly and helpful and provided excellent customer service. At the end of our 2 week holiday not one of us wanted to come home.

Summary: Great location, peaceful and relaxing. Spacious, interesting and well-equipped accommodation. The gardens, play areas and pool were fantastic - perfect for our family holiday with children and grandchildren. David and Carolyn were very welcoming and helpful. All our family of nine agreed we had a brilliant holiday and would happily return.

Summary: We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing holiday in Kermarch - we were a family group of 19, ranging in age from 4 months to 60+ and accompanied by one large dog. The Kermarch properties are comfortable and well appointed and though deep in the heart of Brittany and surrounded by lush, green countryside and farmland, are still only about 1.5 hrs from St Malo ferry port and Dinard airport. The village of St Nicolas du Pelem is an easy cycle and if the local markets cannot cater for your needs, there is a SuperU very close by. The children in the group had endless fun on the trampoline and swings and loved having the freedom to play and explore the grounds, while we all enjoyed the facilities for boules, table tennis and the safe, clean and well maintained swimming pool. Nearby Quingamp, Quintin, Mur de Bretagne and the Abbey de Bon Repos all boast markets on various days. Mur a Pizzas in Mur de Bretagne served up freshly made, knock out pizzas and a warm welcome for 15 of us when we arrived unannounced one evening not long before closing and the lake at Mur de Bretagne has great kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. For the most part, we made our own entertainment and catered for ourselves in the leafy peace of Kermarch but we rounded off our holiday with a really 1st class meal at the nearby Auberge de Pelenic. Excellent! Very good value for money.

Summary: Our party of seven adults, five children and the dog had a wonderfully relaxing holiday at Kermarch. The sheer size of the property and grounds make it an ideal place for children and pets in that they are safe to be given full range of the site. The children had a fabulous week of swimming and playing with plenty to occupy them. They barely had time to even use the wi-fi or TV with Sky. The Farmhouse is generously proportioned with a well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Outside, the grounds are well kept with a large lawn area for barbecues and al fresco dining. A lovely, relaxing holiday.
