Positive: Property was clean and staff were friendly. Lots of lovely added touches with the welcome basket and towel fans. Plenty of space and even a bookshelf full of books / DVDs / map and jigsaw.
Negative: Booking company didn't send relevant information on how to check in and that check in was only up to 6pm.

Positive: The property itself was almost excellent. It was very spacious, private with good hot tub facilities. It was secure so safe to leave the dog roaming (daschund). catered for almost everything. I would defo stay again but would want a different location on the site.
Negative: The location of the property was attached to the reception so you could hear everything going on from the reception during the day. This also had a knock on effect as the path to the reception and cafe were right under the kitchen and toilet window so the flow of people noise was constant and annoying. We also had to have the blinds and windows closed in the kitchen the entire time As Cars/Motorbikes were entering and leaving the campsite (again right next to the lodge) there was constant engine noises from 0700 leaving no chance of a relaxing lie in. The standard of the settee was not acceptable for what was paid for the lodge. I understand it is a pet friendly lodge but I was not able to sit on the settee as there was no padding left and worried it would fall to pieces if I sat on it Upon leaving the lodge we were rudely asked to leave early. The information book inside the lodge stated 1200 and we were being ushered out just after 1000. It later transpired 1200 is for caravans only but was never clarified upon arrival. If this was the case I would have requested a late check out. It also stated the hot tub was checked twice a day but never saw anyone and we had a minor issue on the 2nd day with the hot tub that we ended up having to fix ourselves as no help was readily available.
Summary: The lodge is perfect but location needs to be better or priced accordingly

Negative: Attached to reception. Privacy was not good with people constantly walking past and being able to see into the cabin and see into the rear yard. Noisy with cars and people passing
