Summary: We spent two nights in Dover. Hotel is within walking distance of the train station. Walked from the hotel along the cliffs of Dover on the day we arrived. Walked up to the castle on the second day. Close to downtown, don't miss the Dover museum. Host arranged for our taxi to the cruise port. Breakfast had many options.

Summary: Alex was a wonderful host - friendly and helpful. He answered all of our questions and gave us welcome advice about visiting Dover Castle and about walks in the area. Our room was delightful and well appointed. The kitchen area was adequate and the scones were yummy!

Summary: Churchill Guest House is charming. The room was comfortable and I loved the decor, including a beautiful fold out writing desk. Lovely garden view from the window, cosy radiator heating and lots of little touches like cocoa and biscuits and a bath robe. There is a variety of things to have for a self-catering breakfast. The lounge is very comfortable with lots of interesting books on the local area, and I spent an evening there learning about the local history happily ensconced in an over-stuffed chair. The house is decorated in a way that is congruent with the age of the house contributing to an atmosphere of the past, but with all the modern comforts. A wonderful old doll's house and cat and mouse coin bank amongst many other treasures to enjoy looking at. Affordable and comfortable, a short walk from the castle and shops.

Summary: Churchill house is an absolute gem. This B&B is absolutely beautiful. The decor is in keeping with its the building’s era. Every touch possible was included. Our room was comfortable, clean and wonderfully appointed. The host is extremely responsive. The share kitchen is well stocked and the continental breakfast is varied and generous. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone lookout for a lovely retreat. Thank you Alex. We will be back.

Summary: We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Churchill Guest House. Alex was very welcoming and offered great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The house is a short walk to the castle and cliffs. I highly recommend the Churchill Guest House.

Summary: The room is clean and tidy. The bed is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was self served in the kitchen. The owner was generous enough to stock up with milk, yogurt, cereals, bread, fruits etc. I got everything I needed for my stay.

Summary: Clear instructions for self check in meant that I could arrive when I wanted without causing inconvenience to the host. Alex came to see me when I had settled in and showed me where everything was. Excellent choice for a self serve continental style breakfast with a fully stocked kitchen and fridge. Really made the end of my trip to UK very relaxing before the long journey ahead through France. Thank you.
