Positive: The view was incredible!! Not sure if they moved (previous comments report being on the other side of the road) but my view was right on the valley, perfect sunrise location! If you're prepared for "camping style" accommodation, you'll love it!

Negative: Heads up I went in May and there was only 1 restaurant open which closed at 6pm. Luckily someone was able to make me some white rice and eggs for dinner, but would have liked to know this beforehand to better plan my dinner!

Positive: Owner Khun "Sugar" was perhaps the most friendly host we have encountered throughout our trip thus far. We (group of 4) had a "home-cooked" meal by Sugar who was accommodating enough to prepare what we wanted for our dinner. She and her husband operates a small provision shop just steps away from our room. The rooms were just simple and basic, but they were decently maintained. Certainly good value for the price we paid.

Negative: Do note - the Booking.com and google address is wrong! I contacted the host, Sugar and luckily she responded quite quickly - she drove her motorbike to meet us when I gave her my location. So to all those who want to book this accommodation, it is extremely important to get the exact location first before you set off. Anyway, it is very close to Ban Jabo Noodle House and Dekdoi cafe. Also note that this accommodation is not facing the east, ie it means that you will have to get out and walk over to Ban Jabo Noodle House if you want to catch the sunrise...which is truly magical...with the sea clouds of mists. It's only a 1 minute walk away if you don't mind. There are lots of chickens which already started crowing from 3am in the morning, but I guess most accomodation here in Ban Jabo probably suffers from the same "fate". A peaceful night is tough if you are a light sleeper.
