Summary: A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stay in a 1000 year old castle with a Roman villa foundation and a charming hostess. Irina made our stay memorable with an outstanding dinner, a delicious breakfast, and an informative tour of this historic hidden gem! A must stay!

Summary: Gorgeous property where we were treated like special guests - and old friends at the same time. Say YES to dinner if you are lucky enough to be offered. Our room was gorgeous, and Irina brought tea and coffee to our room when we arrived. This was a beautiful, calm, and peaceful stay that we'll always remember fondly.

Summary: Where does one even begin? To stay in a thousand year old (and that's a guess-it could be and probably is older) chateau in a lovely little town about a half hour southeast of Bourges, in the French countryside is the stuff of dreams. It's a step into history with all the modern conveniences one could want--spacious rooms with stunning vistas, a comfortable bed and a killer bathroom (in a turret!), grand to wander, gardens to enjoy, so much to explore. AND the hosts are absolutely the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Irina is a chef extraordinaire and it you're lucky, you'll get to enjoy some of her work. There is nothing to change at Chateau de Blet...unless you can figure out a way to stop time and stay a little longer....10+ out of 10!
