Positive: Comfortable and spacious rooms with nice views of Colombo skyline. Good location too, not too far from Galle Face Green / Mall and yet close enough to Independence Square and BMICH. Breakfast spread is quite good, and staff are polite and helpful.
Negative: Hotel wanted a payment for one night's stay in advance of our arrival, so I tried making a payment with my international credit card, which didn't go through; my credit card provider informed me that this is due to the hotel using an unsecured payment gateway. So I had to call the hotel to inform them about this issue, and request them not to cancel our booking.

Positive: Lovely clean hotel, everything provided.and an amazing breakfast buffet with a vast choice.. Rooms are cleaned daily. The swimming pool is a great place to cool down in the afternoon.. The view from the roof terrace great.
Negative: Beers could be colder and the DJ not quite as loud.

Positive: The rooftop pool was a perfect addition. We loved the food and the beds were incredibly comfy. Perfect distance to get a tuk tuk or taxi into the main tourist spots in the city. Would stay again!
