Positive: Location excellent for easy access to restaurants, cafes and shops. Very central but not noisy. Comfortable, very clean, and well equipped kitchen. Host was quick to respond to our queries
Negative: You need to access the appartment via two flights of stairs (one external), so be prepared to carry your suitcase…

Positive: Very clean, cosy and spacious. Comfortable beds and sofas; very useful to have a washing machine
Negative: We think the drains in the bathroom might need flushing through - quite an unpleasant smell, despite us using bleach. The apartment was central, but unfortunately we had three nights of loud noise and music until the early hours - Rugby Sevens weekend, plus Bank Holiday, apparently!

Positive: On the Main Street to shops and cafes. The flat has been refurbished throughout and had everything you need. It was clean and comfortable.
Negative: Internet connectivity could be better, wi/fi dropped out constantly. At the weekend the only nightclub is next to property, so be prepared for drunken shouting and loud music 9-1am

Positive: Fabulous location in walking distance to many of the local sights in the town. Very comfortable beds. Clean and cosy apartment. Quick communication with the host. Free parking very close by. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Overall an extremely comfortable stay.
Negative: Not an issue for us but it is worth noting that there is a pub next door so it can get bit noisy outside at night.
Summary: Lovely comfortable apartment with everything needed for a great base to visit Orkney from.

Check-in was very easy and the location of the place was ideal with plenty of near-by parking. The host was helpful, friendly and responded very quickly to any queries.
