Positive: The surroundings aren't very nice, but the tram stop is a 5 minute walk away so you can reach the city centre in about 15-20' altogether. The flat itself is nice, spacious and has a lot of light AND there are shutters on all windows. The heating works well, which is not always a given in France. My two teenage girls took the bedroom and I slept on the sleeping couch, which was a bit hard, but wrapping myself in the duvet made it soft enough to have a proper night's sleep. The kitchen is great. It has a kettle, coffee maker AND a conventional oven (many places have just a microwave, which I'm not a fan of). No toaster or any kind of seasoning. There's a big Lidl right around the corner, which is handy for grocery shopping and they have decent bread there too.
Negative: Finding the entrance was not easy. Better pictures explaining where to look exactly would help. The neighbourhood is a bit strange. It's like a kind of business park area and we were unlucky enough to encounter some really unfriendly characters as we were trying to find the apartment block and the entrance. As a result, the two teenage girls I was travelling with didn't dare go out on their own after dark... which was pretty early in the day, since we were there in the dead of winter. The towels and bed linen smelt like laundry that couldn't dry fast enough and that was a bit unpleasant. Also, there was a drying rack with laundry on it in the bathroom that we were instructed not to touch, which was odd. We were given 2 big towels and 1 small towel for 3 people for 3 nights, which is a bit scant. After a phone call, we were "allowed" to take an extra big towel from the drying rack. Also, for our own towels to dry after showering, there was only a small rack hanging from the glass shower wall, too small and narrow to hang 3 towels, let alone opening them up so as to dry faster. All in all, it was the only reasonably priced flat I found for the period I was there (the week before Christmas) and I'm happy it was available, but I think that, in less busy periods, I'd rather stay somewhere else for this price. Also, if you want to rent the place for 3 people, take a sleeping bag or something to soften the sleeping couch.
Summary: Nice flat for two on the outskirts of Strasbourg

Positive: Spacious room with a huge balcony. Quite a lot of steps of getting in to the room. But the owner explained it well, made it much easier. Patiently answer all our questions online and promptly.
Negative: The floor to ceiling window in the living room wasn't sealed properly even it was closed. I stayed on the sofabed over night. Can feel the constant breeze blow from outside and it's winter... No wifi instruction in the property. But the owner answered it through the platform after we asked. The parking on the street was free. But you need to find it yourself. Parking shouldn't be included into the facility discribtion.
Summary: Spacious, patient owner

Positive: The location. It was clean . Owner was responsive . Sofa bed . Easy access to the building . Warm shower .
Negative: It was very cold , I informed the owner and he came and saw it was very cold . But insisted this is the normal temperature in france . And he kept saying it is 21 degrees but I could easily say it was 12-13 degree inside. The heaters barely works and there were ventilator which made the place freezing. There is no place for clothes, no closet or drawers. The mattress is no good by any means ( at least for me ) it was super soft and not even which makes feel you are about to fall . No enough toilet paper . I don’t recommend it in winter at all .
Summary: Nice freezing apartment.
