Positive: Lovely hotel I've stayed 6 times in the past 2 years for work, Pool sauna and gym are all fantastic. Food is lovely, Breakfast is incredible
Negative: Hotel room is expensive for the location When I stayed in February I was woken up at 5am to construction work.

Positive: Air conditioner in the room was a bonus; the room was spacious with comfortable beds and a bathtub. The hotel has swimming pool but we didn't use it. It is next to the pharmacy and several grocery stores nearby. We have chosen this hotel as we wanted to visit the Claregalway castle, but it was closed and hence, disappointing.
Negative: The hotel is highly overpriced for the quality. The labyrinth of corridors makes it difficult to find a room - at first we browsed around trying to find our way to/from the room. The restaurant onsite is very popular and we booked in advance, yet we were not impressed as the list of local dishes was limited, and our dishes lacked basic seasoning (salt and pepper). Making the most classical Asian dishes (curry and wok fried rice) almost uneatable due to lack of proper seasoning is a skill! We are not picky, but we wanted to share our feedback with a restaurant manager - instead of accepting our comments for improvement she was just pushing back and trying to defend the chef. In fact, she commented that most of the guests like it. I wonder if they would like the restaurant's food even better if it is properly seasoned !?
