Positive: The breakfast was excellent, and huge variety to choose from depending on my mood for the day. The Gym was satisfactory and of reasonable size. The rooms were also of satisfactory size, and very clean.

Negative: The disappointing aspect about the room was the oversized pillow which I found was of zero value. In attempting to use the two small pillows, they were both too soft, and no head support. The hotel may consider buying a memory foam pillow instead to go along with the feather pillow for greater guest comfort. The dinner menu was satisfactory but the schnitzel dinner was just a bit too greasy. Also I noticed that neither of the chefs in the kitchen area were wearing any kind of hair-covering to prevent hairs falling into the prepared food. This I found to be highly unhygienic. Another disappointment I encountered was when I had to place an extension of my stay for the final night of 19th February. I was advised to just return to the Booking.com site, and found a satisfactory option to extend the stay. When I checked back in the morning, I was told that the option I chose was a lesser value and that I had to check out, or pay an extra 200 Kr for to remain in the same room. Normally I could not care, but seeing as the hotel was so huge and not all the rooms were taken, I did not understand why the hotel simply did not waiver the extra charge. Realistically, the hotel had a very low expectation of being fully booked for the Thursday evening, and so I could have simply left my belongings in the same room and avoided the inconvenience of checking out and re-checking in that afternoon. A very disappointing experience with the absence of common sense on that issue.

Summary: Be sure that you don't have to change plans during your stay. The management are inflexible.

Negative: Far from the city centre. Late start for breakfast and the lady who was cooking the hot food even if she finished cooking the food and has displayed it already, she won’t let anyone get it even 5 minutes before breakfast time. As if we didn’t pay for it!
