This original 1940 New Hampshire camp is situated on the Lake Winnipesaukee facing west across the broads on Tuftonboro Neck. Built out of timbers felled during the hurricane of 1938 (thus my grandmother named it Hurricane Ledge), this property has a rustic, quaint feel. Enjoy swimming, canoeing, sitting on the water-side deck or porch enjoying breath-taking sunset views. The house has a wonderful views of the lake, particularly at sunset and Very quiet location; 15 minute drive to Wolfeboro, NH.
We rent by the week (Sunday to Sunday) , end of June, July, and August.

Summary: We really enjoy our stay at thIs cabin! It is quiet, peaceful and great to be steps away from the lake. The owners are being especially attentive to cleaning procedures and we found everything very clean upon arrival. This is a wonderful spot and we highly recommend it for a getaway.

Summary: This is our 5th year at this spot. So relaxing, unplugged, quiet and full of nature. Loons woke us in the morning. Water was gorgeous. Kids had a blast swimming off the shore and looking for fish. We love it and it's all you really need for a relaxing lake week in the summer!!

Summary: We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at this beautiful, secluded camp with an outstanding view of Lake Winnipesaukee. An ideal spot if you or friends are renting the adjoining camp house which is right next door. The waterside deck is a great perch for enjoying the breeze and view. We found swimming or boating to be tricky, however, because the shore is rocky and there is no pier; and, as the house is situated on "the broads" of the lake, the water was choppy for much of the week we were there. We would definitely recommend this place!!

Summary: This classic cozy camp reminded me of my childhood at our camp in the Maine woods! It was rustic, yet perfect for an experience in an early Winni cottage. We had lived on the lake for over twenty years, but we had not stayed on this side of Lake. A step back in time with a relaxing porch, complete with porch screen door that also brought back a "sound" memory. Adequate kitchen, reading spots, a no fuss,easy, laid back place for recharging after a busy year. Recommended for family or couple but young children may need a more gradual beach for their water activities. Lovely sunsets!

Summary: The week we spent in this cottage in this spot on the lake was wonderful! It was quiet, private and just perfect. This cottage is exactly what a summer lakeside cottage should be; rustic, charming and simple. The water is incredible, as are the views! Woke to the sound of loons each morning......The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and has a gas grill which is very convenient. The nearby town of Wolfeboro is fantastic and has everything you could possibly need while on vacation; amazing restaurants, great ice cream and a quaint little downtown to stroll about when you are not enjoying the serenity of the cottage!!
