Positive: We visited in December; the property was warm, comfortable and decorated for Christmas. Munte is lovely small village not far from Gent, a most beautiful city.

Negative: The property was great, but the €300 cash guarantee seemed a little dated, only mentioned after booking, and presented some risks - how would we ensure we got the money back, if the owners were unavailable at the time of departure?

Summary: The house was absolutely gorgeous and Chantal and Bruno were excellent hosts.

Positive: The property is modern and well equipped. The views on a sunny day are very nice and the village is charming with lots of history. The location is close enough to the main motorways and easy to find.

Negative: The property is in a location where a car is needed for shopping. As no basics were available travellers should be aware to bring essentials (food included) especially when arriving in the evening on or a holiday when most if not all shops are closed

It is located on the edge of a charming village, surrounded by green fields, allowing you to enjoy nature and tranquility on your walks. Despite this serene setting, it is very close to Ghent (about a 20-minute drive), Bruges, and Brussels, making it easy to explore the cities and then return to the peaceful retreat.

Negative: Nothing comes to mind. Note that if you want to have a barbecue, you should bring charcoal with you.
