We've been told many times that pictures don't do our home justice. Rent the ORIGINAL 5 bedroom, open floor plan and 2 living room home that earned us rave reviews! This beautiful home is described as relentlessly chic! Here, vacationing with family and friends is made easy.
This house is the perfect location in Beachwalk overlooking Sandcastle Playground, located within Cason Park as your backyard. The beautiful Sheridan Beach is nearby - a short distance down Beachwalk Lane.
The main floor has loads of windows and natural sunlight (house is on a SE corner). Open floor plan with fireplace and 55" Smart TV. Fully stocked and well appointed kitchen with upgraded top of the line appliances. Dining room comfortably seats 12 - table and breakfast bar.
Second floor has 3 bedrooms (equipped with USB outlets) and 2 bathrooms.
Lower level is perfect for kids or another family - separate living room with 70" Smart TV, 2 bedrooms (equipped with USB outlets) and full bathroom. Laundry facilities on lower level as well.
Front porch is large and perfect for a morning coffee on the chat set. Rear screened in porch is 25'x10' overlooking Cason Park and includes dining area, lounge seating and a beverage fridge. Out back enjoy a natural gas grill and deluxe paved patio and fire pit. An outdoor shower is also provided.
No pets and no smoking, please. Saturday to Saturday stays during the summer with short stays welcomed for spring, fall and winter getaways. Nearby activities add to the excitement including Sheridan Beach at Lake Michigan, Indiana Dunes, casinos, a zoo, wineries, outlet shopping and Washington Park.
Rental arrival time is 5 PM and departure time is 9 AM. All times are Central Time.
We have a Ring doorbell located by the front door. No others are located on or in the property.
Golf cart during your stay (seasonal from May - September) is included.
WiFi available at the house and at the pool.

Summary: We had such a nice time at Dune Our Thing! The house was so clean, organized and perfect for our group. Communication was the best I’ve had with a rental and we loved the Beachwalk community. Highly recommend!

Summary: Dune Our Thing was a beautiful house. It was very comfortable with a lot of space which provided privacy and togetherness. The house has 3 floors so there are steps which our toddlers loved to climb so we were constantly watching them. Beach toys and chairs were provided. Our favor thing was the golf cart getting to and from the beach and pool. The kids loved the playground right behind the house and the splash pad by the pool. I highly recommend a vacation at this house.

Summary: House was beautiful and spacious. Our group was made of our daughters' families and included a 2 year old and a 9 month old and there was plenty of space for all. We spent a lot of time on the porches but the screened back porch was our favorite. Pool and beach access were great and the golf cart was a crowd favorite. We highly recommend the property!

Summary: We had an amazing time in this wonderful Beachwalk home. The owner Nicole was so responsive and helpful. The house is gorgeous, perfectly laid out and well appointed. We have stayed in many homes in Beachwalk in the last 20 years and this was definitely the nicest.

Summary: This home is immaculate and so tastefully decorated. Owners have thought of everything. If you travel with young children, the playground is directly behind the house, separate by some small trees. Sit on the screened porch and enjoy your drink of preference while the kids play out back. We loved it! The golf cart is a huge hit with the kids, and there are lots of things for them to do. We also loved the beach on Lake Michigan.

Summary: We absolutely loved our time at this home. We stayed here for a week and it was amazing for our whole group (ages 7 months to 63 years!) It was beautifully decorated, so CLEAN (the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in) and was stocked with so many helpful items. Nicole was so communicative throughout the whole process (from booking through the stay) and provided so many wonderful recommendations. It's apparent the pride she takes in her property. The Beachwalk community offers so many wonderful amenities which makes it the perfect place for a getaway. I guarantee you won't regret booking this house!

Summary: While the pictures and amenities were the initial draw, its so much better in person. Newly remodeled and has everything you could need in the fully stocked kitchen. Screened in porch was a huge bonus and the we spent every night at the fire pit. The beachwalk area is really cute and close to everything. Casino was 5 minutes away and New Buffalo only about 15 minutes. But you dont really need to go anywhere. Nicole as a great host, super informative and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. Will definitely stay again!!!

Summary: Really beautiful home in Beachwalk. Home is in like new condition with a lot of luxury finishes. Kitchen was well stocked and extras of everything were provided. The screened in back patio was perfect for enjoying the cool mornings and evenings. Nicole was a great host and provided ample information about check-in and made it easy to get in touch. We were staying with a 2 year old and he had an absolute blast and loved both the house and the pool, beach. Would definitely stay again.
