Start the day with fresh coffee on the screened in porch; just you and the birds. Take advantage of all the Hudson Valley has to offer only minutes away (nature walks - Clermont Park, Poets Walk; shopping in nearby Hudson or Rhinebeck). Thirsty yet??..Stop by a local winery, brewery or distillery only 2 miles from the cabin. Then enjoy a farm to table meal at one of the many incredible restaurants in Tivoli, Germantown, Hudson, Rhinebeck or Red Hook. End the day around the firepit counting stars.
This cozy and elegant 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin was crafted using rugged 8x8 post and beam timber framing. The mortise and tenon joinery for the exposed frame, passed down through the centuries, creates an authentic old world look and feel. The 1440 sq. ft. interior is tastefully finished with wide-board Vermont hemlock flooring along with reclaimed brick from New York City.
The uncluttered interior is luxuriously furnished and comfortably sleeps 4. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed (Leesa Hybrid mattress), tucked under exposed beams, making it an incredibly cozy place to retire. The oversized master suite is the entire 2nd floor with loads of space for a king size bed (Leesa Hybrid mattress), on-suite bath, chaise lounge and desk/work area. Additionally, there is a wonderfully inviting single twin bed (premium memory foam mattress), under the stairway – great for kids, or even a single adult. All beds have super-soft, linen sheets and comforter covers.
The state of the art gorgeous kitchen with soapstone counter tops is fully equipped with new appliances including refrigerator/freezer w/built-in ice maker, gas range w/vent hood, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee machine, as well as a variety of hand held and small appliances.
Additional amenities include: under floor radiant heat – considered the most comfortable heat, along with split system A/C and heat units on each floor, smart TV with ROKU, free wi-fi, full sized washer and dryer, iron & board, hair dryer, linens, towels, dishes and cooking utensils, including tools for the outdoor BBQ.
Location
The cabin is situated on a peaceful and private 2 acre parcel, nestled on the edge of a private wooded area. Enjoy an evening cocktail on the screened in front porch, then move to the back patio for a BBQ and al fresco dining on warm summer evenings. Finish off the night around the fire pit and marvel at the stars in the clear night sky.
This location, adjacent to Germantown, enjoys access to the best the Hudson Valley has to offer - centered between Rhinebeck to the south and Hudson to the north, and is just a short drive to the Catskill Mountains.
For your peace of mind, the property is under 24 hour video/audio surveillance.

Summary: We all had a comfy, cozy stay at this beautiful cabin. The wall art is very interesting, would love to hear the stories behind the creation of them. It was wonderful to sit back and take in nature (including Barred Owls), read a book, play cards, make a campfire, BBQ, and just plain relax for a bit. We were in no rush to go anywhere. Although we did hit the Duchess County Fair, Hudson on the River, Tivoli, Rhinebeck Aerodrome, a winery, farm stands, and my favorite Clermont State Park. I get that peaceful, easy feeling just thinking of our stay! Thanks Dave and Judy
