Summary: The host was very responsive and great to work with. The property location was terrific. Unfortunately, there was a mouse in the property. We noticed droppings and let the owner know. We also saw the mouse on three occasions--in the kitchen on the stove and running under the microwave and the counter. The host offered to return our cleaning fee.

Summary: This place has so much potential but it wasn't well looked after. My colleague's and I booked this place for an overnight stay back in May of this year. We chose this location as it was a cheaper alternative to getting multiple hotel rooms and the pictures on the site made it look appealing. The location was great and the view of the lake is breath taking. Unfortunately the property wasn't maintained as it looked in the photos. The lawn was overgrown and the buildings structure was a little questionable. It's clearly a property geared for quick rentals and seems to be more weathered than how it's displayed. I was hoping this might be a spot to plan a small family getaway for a another time if it went well but in it's current state I don't think my family would be comfortable staying for a duration. Overall the place has what you need for a nice getaway. Lots of space inside/outside, multiple bedrooms, and a large property by the lake. It definitely has potential for a nice getaway. It just needs more TCL than the current cover ups to help make it a repeat location to visit. The access to the property is a long bumpy road in that could easily be groomed to improve it. Communication from the property owner was pleasant and quick from my experience so they have that part working. Good job there. :) I think if you were to invest a little more into fixing up the structure of the building and keeping up the yard maintenance, you'd have a great spot for visitors.

Summary: The view is stunning, the area is very private. But this property lacks of cleanliness, we were shocked how the maintenance is not meeting the standard. Kitchen & fridge and washroom were dirty, sheets weren’t changed, coffee machine had mould. We kept hearing something moving around inside of the wall while we were sleeping, my kids refused to take shower during our stay. As someone else mentioned, no water access, it seems they used to have a long time ago (not working condition steps behind the property.) It has so much potential, too bad it’s kept the way it is.

Summary: It is a great view. It certainly is on a cliff. No access to the water. We had a raccoon came into the house at 1am! Pushed up thru the furnace duct. Terrified the kids as it came thru the bedroom! The host only communicates sporadically and hasn't come thru with the promised refund! The road off the highway is about 1/2 mile and deep potholes.

Summary: We stayed at this property for 2 nights for a short get away from the hustle of city life. We were really glad we chose this place. It had an amazing view of the lake and great spot to just relax and unwind. The house was well equipped with all the required household necessities. The host was also very responsive with any queries we had.
