Positive: Nice big rooms, bedroom 3 was small but the bed was really comfy. The garden was lovely, sat there with a coffee in the morning listening to the birds chirping away. The kitchen had plenty of room and the dining table was laid out better than some restaurants we have visited, well done for that. Plenty of communication and any questions were answered very quickly.
Negative: The only thing we could fault was it was that hot, we wanted to sit in the garden, but there was no patio umbrella. (although there was a base) A bigger patio table could probably be helpful. It would probably be wise for the owners to re-grout the bathroom floor as any water ingress through the tiles could be costly.
Summary: Easy to gain access once we arrived, nice & clean, lovely beds.

Positive: The location is quiet and safe. Easy to park and quick to travel to other areas
Negative: There are a few weird quirks to the house. All the light switches are in the wrong place so you have to walk into a dark room to find the switch behind the door. The shower is in the wrong place - the wrong wall but also tucked into the corner. With the shower screen on the wrong side it means the bathroom floor is soaking wet very quickly. The dining room table is set up for a dinner party and I’m sure this looks great for photos but practically it’s unnecessary. It means the cupboards and drawers are almost empty of things you need and it’s not clear how long the plates / cutlery and glasses have been out, gathering dust. We weren’t sure if we were meant to use it or not. The sponges for washing up are old and pretty disgusting. The beds are comfortable enough but the pillows and sheets are really cheap. They need an update. The sofas are tiny and hard when you sit on them. Everything feels like it needs a refresh with some quality bedding, towels and blackout blinds (the curtains let in lots of light as they’re badly fitted).
Summary: Needs a refresh and a good clean but fine for one night’s sleep

Positive: Lovely host, beautiful home, the table and bed set up was so lovely. We asked for use of the garage to store a motorbike which was accommodated for. Beds are very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Positive: The host was easy to contact throughout our stay. The house was warm, tidy and well presented. The dining table was pre-laid for dinner which was a nice touch.
Negative: Only a couple of minor points. The light switches for each room was behind the door, not the wall facing you. Must be how the house was wired back in the day. Easy to adjust habits so not a problem. The bathroom looked new. Shame the shower head and shower screen was at opposite ends of the bath to each other. The shower worked as expected.

Positive: Nice clean house. Easy to use central heating so nice and warm. Great location for visiting my family. Good size garden with patio and seating. Off road parking. Located in nice quiet area.
Negative: Shower screen on opposite end of bath to shower which meant the water went on the floor. No blind in bathroom although there was privacy glass but I do like to have a blind as well. Pictures, clock & wall fixtures in house not level.
