This lovely south facing holiday home is on The Wild Atlantic Way overlooking Clifden, Mannin Bay and the rugged coastline. It’s just ¼ mile from the sea, perfect for walking and exploring the many sandy beaches, islands and inlets. Clifden ‘the capital of Connemara’ just 3 miles away, a popular bustling town with many attractions with excellent pubs and restaurants. Horse Riding, surfing, windsurfing, kayaking, sea angling and trout fishing are all available locally and there are excellent walking and cycling tracks and trails in the area.
This is a beautiful and varied coastline awash with beaches and islands and some excellent sea fishing. The rugged coastline is dotted with remote islands, some are inhabited but many are now deserted. An incredibly remote and windswept archipelago which is wild and beautiful.
With the majestic scenery of the Twelve Pins (2356ft), Ballyconneely 18 hole championship golf course, horse riding and many small lakes all within a few miles. A great base for exploring the spectacular scenery of Connemara with its many lakes, mountains and interesting and varied coastline and dark night skies. It’s time to switch off, relax and do a little stargazing.
