Summary: We booked a o e night stay here as our last night in Ireland at the end of a two week trip. I have to say we were disappointed. It was not inexpensive and I thought we were paying for the charm of staying in a castle. Honestly, we could have been staying in any airport Holiday Inn (no offense to Holiday Inns). The lobby was interesting but the hotel corridor and rooms were as basic as could be. Nothing charming at all. The bed was soft (old). Bathroom also looked aged. Towels were large, a plus. Breakfast was extensive but floor of the restaurant was sticky. This was the noisiest hotel I have been in in a very long time. We could hear people running above us late into the night. We could hear the bass beat of music playing below us. We could hear doors closing up and down the hallway. Seriously, it became comical. And you are far from everything except a lovely promenade walk (bit of an industrial view, but seaside and beach as well). I do not recommend this hotel. It is overpriced, and lacks castle charm save the lobby and exterior.

Summary: This was my last stay in Ireland and I wanted to stay in a castle! The hotel was grand and medieval looking. Beautiful at every turn! There was even a wedding and parties thrown each night there. We were very comfortable with the King bed and air conditioning! However, no convenient stores or quick shops nearby. There’s a bar/ restaurant on property tho was a bit expensive. Especially for my soda loving mom. The property did provide waters. This was a great treat for the end of my trip!

Summary: I recently stayed at this hotel and I have to say, I was really impressed! The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The staff were friendly and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay enjoyable. The room was cozy and clean, which is a huge plus for me. There’s nothing better than walking into a fresh space after a long drive. Speaking of which, parking was a breeze—no complicated procedures or long walks to the entrance. Overall, it was a really comfortable stay, and I left feeling rested and happy. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a hassle-free experience!
