Positive: Central location next to Cathedral. Old property beautifully restored. Large room, quiet, comfy bed, great shower. Buffet breakfast with local items.

Negative: The hotel has no parking. Nearby places were full. We found parking in a street 10 minutes away but be aware that some is restricted to 45 minutes. Someone from the hotel walked to where we had parked to confirm that we could park there overnight. It would be nice if the hotel could offer maps of the town.

Positive: The location is close to the fascinating cathedral and interesting town centre; all very quiet. Bedroom large and furnished in style. St Omer is well worth a visit. Breakfast included fresh bread and viennoiseries; plentiful cheese and cold meats. A warm welcome. Would stay again if in the area.

Positive: Loved the building itself and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. Very close to everything. The courtyard was lovely.

Negative: There weren’t any towels in one of our bedrooms and by the time I noticed, there wasn’t anyone on reception to ask. Luckily I’d booked two other rooms for my family & we managed. Also there was a bottle of water with cigarette butts on the balcony that hadn’t been removed. Just little attention to details.

Positive: Leaving early for a ferry so did not have breakfast.

Negative: Communication could have been better. The establishment requested that guests phoned 15 mins before arrival. I phoned 3 times and got no reply. I also emailed through booking.com a few hours before arrival to advise about our arrival time but never received a reply. The details about parking were a bit vague whilst booking and we ended up parking in the town square. However Clos Du Bailli is very beautiful and it was a lovely place to stay.

Summary: The building was simply beautiful and our room was amazing. Will visit again .
