Enjoy a place that can fit your large family, church retreat, and or a friends' getaway! Short 5 minute stroll to Sandy Bottom beach. It has a large yard with a firepit for campfires, with free wood provided. Play the provided badminton, croquet, and lawn games! There is a peak-a-boo view of the lake during the summer months and a wide view from the living room after the leaves fall. The house is conveniently located at the north end of the lake and has full access to Sandy Bottom beach. Play in the crystal clear water with boating, swimming, fishing/ice fishing, and relax on the lifeguarded sandy beach. Take a few-minute stride to the playgrounds, basketball court, pickleball court, nature trail, and sandy beach. Relish at the night sky while star gazing with Bortle 4 sky.
The property has 4 bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms. Each bedroom has their own cooling and heating unit so that everyone may sleep to their own liking. The master bath has a walk-in shower for two with two normal showerheads and large rain-head. If you desire to cook/bake, you will appreciate the open fully loaded kitchen with spacious island and dishwasher. Unwind on the large deck with a charcoal grill. Towels and sheets are provided, and there are two tandem kayaks and two single kayaks for you to use. The living room has a fireplace, two wide sliding doors, which show the stunning view of the hills/ partial lake. Enjoy the smart TV by logging into your apps so that you may enjoy your own personal entertainment apps. The gas fireplace is usable during the months of October-May. Boardgames are available for your use. The driveway can hold three vehicles and extra vehicles may park on the lawn at the side of the house.
Located nearby are delicious local restaurants, café, bakery, Birdhouse Brewing Co with live music, Tennity's Guide Service & Fishing Charters, scenic trails for walking/ cross-country skiing, a variety of vineyards, beautiful fall foliage (Oct-Nov). 15 minutes to Bristol Mountain Ski resort and Hunt Hollow Ski Club. In the winter, enjoy the gorgeous view of the lake in the valley surrounded by hills, and warm up by the gas fireplace. This lake is great for ice fishing!

Summary: We stayed the weekend and had a wonderful time the house was very clean! Communication with the host was great very polite! Could be more couch seating. Overall we were very happy and had a wonderful time! Great yard and lots of room good fire area. Could increase check out time We felt rushed in the morning and wanted to sleep in more.

Summary: Ten of us stayed together for a girls weekend trip. The property was beautiful and there was a view of the lake from the back deck. There were plenty of beds for all of us to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked and the decor was very tasteful. Everyone had a wonderful time and we look forward to doing it again next year.

Summary: I was a little nervous renting a property with no reviews, but was reassured after conversations with Jennifer! The home was lovely! The location perfect for our family of 13! A short walk took you to a beach with lifeguards, a nature trail, playgrounds and volleyball court!! The backyard was awesome for the kids to run around and the firepit was great! The home itself was cozy and clean. Jennifer was a delight to work with and was available if we needed anything! Do not hesitate to book this home for your next vacation!!

Summary: The house looks small from the outside but the inside has a ton of space for a crowd. The front porch and back deck provide even more room to socialize and/or relax. It's beautifully updated, super-clean, and amazingly well-stocked with everything you could need. We love to cook when we're all together, and the kitchen was literally filled with every pot, tool, dish, etc that we could ever want (including a large electric griddle, on which we made a big batch of pancakes!) It's not right on the water, but you can see it a short distance away (3-5 minute walk or 1 minute drive to the public beach). The huge back lawn was great for our kids to run around and play, and chase fireflies in the evening! Jennifer is an all-star host... Outstanding communication, easy check-in/out procedure, and she has the whole house set up perfectly for a great, stress-free vacation. I can't recommend this highly enough... For a lovely stay in Honeoye, choose Pear Tree Cottage!!
