LOCATION, LOCATION, beautiful small dog friendly home is located in the desirable neighborhood of Sable Chase. You're minutes by golf cart to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square. The Town Squares are one of the most popular attractions of the community where you'll find shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and free live entertainment nightly! When you are ready for a day in the sun or fun the Canal Street Recreation Center is a short walk or golf cart ride away. Here you'll find a family friendly swimming pool, billiards room, and much more.
You'll feel right at home the minute you open the front door. This home is warmly decorated with a bright open floor plan. The kitchen is complete with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals. This home also offers a casual dining area that seats six. The living room offers comfortable seating, if an evening in is enjoying your favorite television shows on the flat screen TV sounds relaxing. The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV, 2 walk-in closets, and a private master bath with a walk-in shower. Both guest bedrooms have a queen size bed and a flat screen T.V. for your guests to feel right at home. The bedrooms and both bathrooms are set up with extra towels and linens. This home also offers privacy in the rear with privacy landscaping outside the screened in lanai. The lanai offers comfortable seating to enjoy your morning coffee or juice. It is also a great place to end a busy day of activities with friends before heading out to the town squares.
This home comes complete and includes a GAS BBQ grill, GAS GOLF CART & FREE WiFi internet connection. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the executive golf courses or pay resident rates at the Championship courses. You're also encouraged to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, and more plus over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.
This home is made for fun! Just bring your suitcase and we'll provide the 'key' for enjoyment.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Down Home is great to work with, vert professional and responsive. But, the house needs work, inside and outside. Location is great and neighborhood is very nice. We have stayed there the past three years for a total of 10 months, but we are moving on next year.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had to replace the silicon exhaust hose on the golf cart. The house was not cleaned very well - the floors were loaded with pet hair! Under the beds the pet hair was so bad it looked like carpet! Even the garage floor was full of pet hair! The non stick coating on several of the pans is flaking off and they should not be used - need to replace. The ice maker did not work when we arrived. A repair man was sent out and he had no idea what-so-ever as how to fix it and left after doing nothing. The ice maker looked like a big block of ice, I thawed it out and there was a metal tang that activated the water supply to the ice maker that was bent. Fixed that and the ice maker worked fine for the remainder of our stay. Never uncovered the grill, so I have no comments about it. The house is in a great location and overall was a nice place to stay.

Summary: The house was pretty much as listed. The cleanliness was really not up to scratch. Many of the utensils, pots and pans had to be washed before use and counter tops. We did not use the oven but it needs a thorough cleaning. As there is a $250 cleaning fee one would expect a lot better.
